Review: The book is about the history of Folsom, California. It is put together very well in that it is mostly pictures. The pictures are historical pictures and therefore they are black/white. Each picture has a caption with a little of the history.

The book is neatly divided into historical categories eg. Work Life, Coummunity Life, Family Life, etc.

The history of Folsom is notable. It has a prison known worldwide, was very much in the center of the Gold Rush, noted for electrical transmission, and a key piece in Rail history.

Informative and easy reading. I am a resident of Folsom and gained new appreciation of Folsom history.
