Review: This is a wonderful book!!!!! I have been unable to put it down since I put my hands on it!!!! This book tells the story of Gainesville in such away that it can only be considered a credit to the ladies that assembled the book. It brings to life so many of the names that kids from my age group growing up in Gainesville knew only as names on buildings. Gainesville is a city that is rich with history and contributions from African Americans whose stories were never told until now, and this book is a treasure. A must have is the only way to describe this book!
