Summary: Great book, but could be better
Review: This is a highly enjoyable book and I could hardly wish for a better level of the scholarship or a style of writing. I would recommend this book to anybody who is interested in Italian art, or Crivelli's work. In fact, very little has been published about Crivelli and this book is something I was hoping to see published for a number of years. On the downside, at least a third (if not a half) of all images in the book are black & white, and some color photographs are of relatively poor quality (grain, bad light etc). I am sure Yale Press could do better than that.
