Summary: Absolutly the most incredible book i ever read.
Review: This book is a exelent book. I have read many books about the SAS in IRAQ some of wich are CQB by Mike Curtis and The One that Got Away By Chris Ryan, but BRAVO TWO ZERO is a breath taking story. A book you must read once you start you wont stop untill you have finnished this book. For the people who are wondering how it was in IRAQ for the brave British special forces this book is the one that will explain it in great detail. I strongly recomend that you buy this book.

Summary: The best account of the SAS in action to date!
Review: This book was the first book wich started me on to the SAS series of books. Andy McNab tells a beleivable story of his mission in behind enemy lines in Iraq against Sadam Hussein. He is almost killed in the fight to stay alive. Iread this book in one day and am very happy to own this and Immediate Action. Another good read about this mission is Chris Ryan's book 'The One that Got Away' another good account of the SAS mission behind enemy lines in the Gulf war. This book is recomended.

Summary: Gritty, Gutsy, Dirty,a special operations story at it's best
Review: I spent over twenty years in anti-terrorist work, with a tour with the 82nd Airborne in Viet Nam during Tet 1968. McNab hits the nail on the head in this no holds barred account of what special operations is really all about. Andy puts his own words into the world of the dark and mysterious behind the scenes activities that make or break small and large scale warfare. The dark humor I remember well, McNab's account is on the money. We should all salute SAS, SBS, GSG9, Delta and the rest that do the dirty work that keeps us all free. Three cheers for McNab!

Summary: THE BEST, READS LIKE FICTION
Review: IF YOU LIKE THIS BOOK, READ "THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY" BY CHRIS RYAN. THE ONLY TEAM MEMBER OF BRAVO TWO ZERO THAT MADE IT OUT OF IRAQ!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Absolutely fantastic account of the British SAS in the Gulf.
Review: Andy McNab tells of his heroic mission into Iraq to take out a SCUD base. The story is one of extream courage and devotion to duty. A must read for anyone who serves.

Summary: Listen to the tapes!
Review: I've read the book - it's great. I've listened to the tapes - even better. Its quite fantastic to listen to Andy McNabb's own telling about what the SAS teams got into. -Aspecially how they react to situations that most people would die from. The most common response in crisis is "But that's no problem, we have ben trained to handle such things". A real good lesson in positive thinking! You must also read his new book "Remote Control" when it is awailable in the US. It's a "10" again.

Summary: A very much needed insight into spec ops and war in general
Review: I could not put this book down. This book tells, finally, of the absolute horrors of war. It tells of how McNab and his men got to the point of wanting to die to escape pain. I used to think that the Persian Gulf war was just a "little war". But now, I realize that no war is "a little war" . I give my greatest respect to McNab, for a few reasons. To be able to tell that story takes a lot of guts, and, being a civvie, I will never understand anything about what being a soldier is like. But he gave me a good idea of what its like. He also destroyed my belief that the U.S. and its allies have taken part in "small wars". He painted a picture to go with the statement "War is hell". I also look up to him, and all soldiers, for being scared, but not calling it quits. I believe that all soldiers are heroes, for fighting and dying for their countries, and Sgt. McNab's book, Bravo Two Zero, has shown me that.
