Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: After reading this book, I had to have it in my library. Review: I first read this book over a year ago and recently bought my own copy. The wealth of detail, the multitude of witnesses who saw something but were not questioned or were intimidated by the questioners, the endless connections and cross connections of the FBI, CIA, the Mob, military intelligence and the so, so obvious questions that should have been asked by investigators and the Warren commission that not only were not asked, but they turned away those who had answers.... all these and more make it so obvious that there was a conspiracy and a coverup! Mr Marrs does an excellent job of presenting a tremendous amount of information. If this subject intrigues you at all, I promise you.... you won't be disappointed in it's content. You will alternately be amazed, angry and frightened as well at the inescapable conclusions you can not avoid about our government, leaders and our national security... as well as our own personal security. It is chilling! I remember the events! of those days and nothing in this book contradicts any thing which I heard and observed at the time and it corroborates a number of things which I was sure I remembered noticing during the aftermath of the asassination. I believe this book to be factual and accurate as much as any could be written by someone was not a part of the conspiracy. Only the conspiritors and those who did the coverup can know more!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A MUST HAVE for JFK Assassination Information Review: I found this book to be one of the best that I ever read regarding the JFK assassination. I have it on my shelf and it has stayed there long after many of the other books I have read on this topic and been taken off and given away. That is one of the best things I can say about a book. This book covers most of the assassination theories out there. It states why this theory might be plausable and that is very powerful. Rather than knocking down the theories, it tries to present them in a very non biased way. After reading this book, it will be evident that there is a conspiracy and that Oswald did not act alone. This is one of the Must Have and Must Reads for those interested in the assassination of JFK.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Aliens are among us? Review: I loved O. Stone's movie. I wanted to read this book, but I discovered that M. Marrs also wrote: "Alien Agenda: Investigating the Extraterrestrial Presence Among us". Well that does it for me. I won't read the book. Now that's up to you! I thought this was an interesting peace of information for any potential reader.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A good book....... Review: I think Jim Marrs, though very long-winded, has written a very well thoughtout book. Anyone who makes it through this book will come away with the same conclusion; there is NO WAY in the world Oswald acted alone, and the Warren Commission was a joke from its inception. The facts are clear...the american public has been led astray for over 35 years.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: 10 Stars at least! Review: If there's one book that you must have, this is it -- the absolute "bible" to use for reference and detailed information on the Kennedy assassination. The author's narrative style is easy to read, and he collates all the latest information and the various theories and evidence into a concise rendition of what happened, what might have happened, and what did not happen. Original hardback did NOT have either an essential index or footnotes, but the paperback does.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Ridiculous Review: If you buy this book's thesis, you are accepting exactly what the KGB and Cuban DCI wanted Americans to believe. Instead, read a book on the Kennedy assassination by Edward Jay Epstein, especially "Legend."
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great fact filled book that covers all areas Review: If you have any interest in this subject, this is a great fact filled reference. It has a well organized index for easy finding of any subject area. Everythings here: Was Oswald really Oswald?, Guy Bannister, 544 Camp St., The strange and bizzare David Ferrie, Clay Shaw(er...Bertrand??), The Jim Garrison investigation, Was Jack Ruby in Dealy Plaza? Was Ruby at Parkland Hospital? The Grassy Knoll, Cuba, The Mob, Agency, FBI, LBJ, J. Edgar Hoover, The Cover Up, Witness Intimidation, everthing is here. Just wish it had more photographs. Also recommend: On The Trail Of The Assasins: Jim Garrison
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Actually, the book is hilarious Review: If you want a good laugh, this is the book for you. My favorite bit of nonsense is about the "unbrella man" who supposedly opened and closed his umbrella to signal a gang of assassinations (apparently they all shared the same rifle) that Kennedy was coming. The idea that someone would need a man with an umbrella to open and shut it as Kennedy's limousine went by in order to tell assassins that "that's your target" is so preposterous I had to share it with my friends. We had a very very good laugh. Marr's other non-sense is about those "mysterious deaths," that not only aren't mysterious but involve people that had nothing to do with the assassination. Gerlad Posner lists them at theend of his new addition and it makes for more chuckles. Marrs has produced a masterpiece of flim flam, in an area long known for absurd logic - I still remember the "puff of smoke" on the grassy knoll decades ago and wondering how (and why!) any sniper could find non-smokeless ammo in 1963. I don't think thay had that in WWI. Marrs is sliced and diced in Gerald Posner's Case Closed. Buy that book and learn something. This book's a waste of money, except for its unintentional humor.
