Summary: Very Partisan But Well Done
Review: If you don't like Clinton, this is an excellent book. A well researched book about the negatives of the Clinton years, Coulter's book unearths many facts about the Clinton legacy that most people never knew about. However, this is not a impartial account by any means. Coulter's dislike (and that's a soft word) for Clinton is diffused in every page she writes which makes it hard for a case that was ever fair to begin with. If you are a liberal you will probably hate this book, but if you are on the fence or a conservative looking for some Clinton bashing ammunition, you will enjoy this book.

Summary: As dull as dull can be!!
Review: I was expecting to get a fresh, informative take on the scandals of Bill Clinton's presidency, but I was sorely disappointed and *completely* bored by the author's endless ruminations, pointless meanderings and tired vitriol. Waving the flag and rigid ideology does not make for a vibrant and illuminating report on one of the most crucial times our nation has faced. By the 700th page I was nearly falling asleep to the long, step by step drawn out recountings of the whitewater scandal and how it took shape. Slogging through the descriptions of who was wearing what at the cocktail party for Ken Stark in the final chapters I was entirely ready to kill myself for ever buying this book.

Summary: YELLOW JOURNALISM OR LIBEL
Review: Ms. Coulter is seizing the Leo-Straussianism wave that have come upon America to make big bucks. Poor research, poor work. She could be a good lawyer by the way she manipulates the truth but at the same time her case can be easilly destroyed by someone with time to research. Then after loosing her case she would write another sizzing book to mislead the American public.
No wonder Al Franken called her a liar.

Summary: ann coulter is a babe and a hero . . . for the bible belt
Review: a great read.it makes me want to befriend all of the ego-fornicating lawyers from conneticut to texas. her insights and wisdom are invaluable for the "eighty percent, or whatever it is" (chomsky), that are without the wherewithal and gumption to assess for themselves critically, and with a healthy open mind, actual fact verses fiction and understanding the function of persuasive agenda. it says what a so-called "conservative" WANTS to hear, no matter how distorted the reality. all of coulters books, in hard cover if possible, should be a treasured collection for any library, including this book. like your bible, this book should be puchased new, and read in a literal sense, together with the priesthood of the believer, that will allow its translation into tidy accommodations.

Summary: Absolute Truth, The Opposite of Rubbish!
Review: Thank goodness there are people like Ann Coulter to completely dispel the myth that Bill Clinton was a good president. This book is the absolute truth and shows how Clinton's policies and morality was utter rubbish. Totally incomprehensible for anyone to think he was good for America. Ann Coulter pretty much proves my neighbor's blind cat could have done a better job!

Summary: Convincing Case against President Clinton
Review: As Ann Coulter's first book provides a stunning indictment of former President Clinton. As Ann Coulter explains, President Clinton enganged in many impeachable actions, including abuse of the IRS to target legitimate political opposition to his policies; the attempt to create false statements regarding career federal Democrats--those in the Travel Office--simply to stash Clinton croonies in those positions; and for lying--perjoring himself--in a court of law regarding his sexual escapades. Ann Coulter pushes aside the common myth that only certain behaviors were concered impeachable. With many citations, Coulter provides many examples of what the Framer's were thinking when they crafted the "high crimes and misdemeanors" clause within the Constitution relating to impeachment. The Founders actually believed any misconduct was subject to impeachment. Even if subordinates--not the president--are responsible for certain behavior, the president is still responsible. Why? Well, the main reason is that someone must be held accountable for corruption. Also, if a subordinate is corrupt, it likely is due to the corrupting influence of the commander. If the person in charge is corrupt, as Clinton was, then those who are below him (no pun intended) are also likely to be corrupt. I wonder why liberals are so upset with Ann Coulter's remarks considering that all of them are true. Not a single liberal has yet to disprove a single Ann Coulter statement. All they do is question her motives and her character. They also think making childish statements regarding her hair color is enough to diminish her character. But it isn't. Ann Coulter's statements are accurate and are clearly documented. If they were not accurate, a liberal would have boldly explained how she is wrong. That has yet to happen. Michael Gordon

Summary: Way to go anne! Woohoof
Review: I'm glad I read this. I mean, I have not read this book, but I like this because it shows how morally corrupt the Clinton Adminestration had become. It's a good book to read, and I'm glad I checked into this because, Bill Clinton was not a very good president. It's George W. Bush who is the honest president who has outthrown Clinton, and his adminestration. This is a very good book.
For those of you who give it less than five stars. You need to get a brain transplant and quick! Good job Coulter.

Summary: I wish I could give this book 0 stars...laughable hysteria
Review: This book is a regurgitation of lies, speculation and fiction created by those who couldn't, or wouldn't admit that our country was far better of under Clinton than the moral men of "Ronald Reagan and George Bush". Maybe Clinton was unfaithful to his wife...that is between the two of them....is that "crime" compared to selling guns to rebels, etc...all this book "proves" is that far right employs better spin masters than any other group in this country.

Summary: This is the most convincing case for impeachment I've read.
Review: This is the first of Ann Coulter's books. While Slander and Treason are written with more humor and are easier reads, this book is slower at times because it deals with the details of legal issues and law breaking. There is still humor in this book, but overall it's not as fast-paced as Slander is. In High-Crimes and Misdemeanors Coulter makes a thoroughly convincing legal argument that Clinton's behavior rose to the constitutional bar of impeachment as the founders defined it. Coulter also does a good job of detailing many of the various other scandals by members of the Clinton administration, which serve to show how thoroughly corrupt and incompetent the "most ethical" administration in American history actually turned out to be.
