Summary: A DISAPPOINTING BOOK
Review: I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BOOK. I DID NOT KNOW IF I WAS IN THE PRESENT OF THE PAST. I DID NOT LIKE THE STORYLINE. I DID NOT FINISH READING THIS BOOK. THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS, I KIND OF JUST SCAN THE PAPERS TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW THE BOOK ENDED. I'M SORRY OMAR BUT THIS WAS NOT THE BOOK.

Summary: Flyy Girl Returns!
Review: Although For the Love of Money was not as good as Flyy Girl it was still a great book.. This book managed to hold my attention until the end. Omar Tyree's style in this book was very creative and made the book more interesting than if it had been written in the same format as Flyy Girl! I think that the book was good and although Tracy may have never got her man, she still had that same candid, honest and wild personality that she had in Flyy Girl which was one of the man reason I liked that book so much! I recommend it!

Summary: Can you say library book?
Review: I read Flyy Girl (which I also disliked) in order to read this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the other writings I've read by Mr. Tyree - A Do Right Man, Sweet St. Louis, Single Mom and Capital City. It took me an entire week to read this and I normally read a book in a few days. Hey, maybe it's just me - but I'm not feelin' it.

Summary: Straight up WHACK!
Review: I'm sorry Mr. Tyree, but this book was awful. It took me about two weeks to read it, when the average "good read" can be knocked out in three days tops. The only reason why I finished it was because I kept thinking it would get better after awhile. It never did. Since this was a sequel to "Fly Girl", I thought it would be "the bomb." But instead, it turned out to be a dud. For those who want to try their luck and read it anyway, I'd be glad to GIVE you my copy. For real.

Summary: FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY
Review: THIS BOOK REALLY HAD ME WANTING MORE. I ENJOYED READING IT AND HATED TO PUT IT DOWN. SHE WAS TRUELY A FLYY GIRL.

Summary: for the love of money
Review: I loved Flyy Gyrl so i thoutht the follow-up For The Love Of The Money would also be excellent. I must admit that it did have some alertive parts however the book was no comparison the orginal. It seems as if Tracy lives a fantasy life, everything just goes right for her. If you REALLY have to know what happens to Tracy after teen years than you may want to read it but i recommend that you just ask a friend.

Summary: For the Love of Omar
Review: I loved Flyy Girl. In fact to date, it is one of the best books I've ever read. It is also the reason I purchased For the Love of Money. Originally I was completely disappointed. It doesn't flow like Flyy Girl. It doesn't have the same intensity and story development as Flyy Girl. I truly expected more. On it's own I give it a 3. But a Flyy Girl Sequel it is not! Omar was not focused for this one...

Summary: Dissappointing
Review: I purchased this book with such high hopes only to be dissapponted. I've read two other book by Omar Tyree, "Flyy Girl"( which I loved) and "Sweet St Louis" (that I also enjoyed.) But to my dismay this was such a let down. This book didn't seemed to have a focus or plot. It just flowed from one uninteresting chapter to another. Tracy, the focus of both "Flyy Girl" and "For the Love of Money," charactor was well developed on a personnal level in the book but other than her thoughts there wasn't anything else to hold your attention other than the hope that you just haven't got to the good part yet. But by page 200 I finally realized there wasn't a good part.

Summary: Interesting
Review: I felt this was a good book on the basis that I could not tell fantasy from reality in the book. It made wonder me if the Flyy Girl character Tracy Ellison was real. Yet that is also not the reason I enjoyed it. The romance between Victor and Tracy was what really made me want to pick up the book because I was expecting a storybook ending where they both live happily ever after but was surprised and happy with the realistic ending.

Victor's and Tracy's encounter in the hotel room was the part that kept me interested but her fast moving career from a schoolteacher to an actress kept me reading. This book is not a waste of time or money but the waste of a good book if you don't read it.
