Summary: For the love of god
Review: I'll keep it simple: HATED IT.

Summary: for the love of god
Review: Unlike Mr Tired-ree, I will not go on and on. Hated it. Where's the plot? Do bookstore owners get a kick back for recommending these books or what? Good thing I know that books are RETURNABLE. I have this book in one hand and the receipt in the other, and I'm heading back to Hue Man to try and salvage some of my hard earned money. Guess I'll have to eat the gas. Paging Terry McMillan, come in Ms. McMillan...

Summary: Sequels are always worse
Review: this book is a complete disappointment. The first was a coming of age tale that even hit close to home with someone as young as me. I hated the Omar Tyree references and the boring life of Tracy. He should of left the uncompleted life of Tracy alone. My imagination would of came up with a better ending.

Summary: Telling it like it is
Review: Tracey character is well developed. The author, traces back to her history to show her progress. What stood out he most was that she earned her wealth and success through determination. She learns from her mistakes as a teen, but she's the same sassy girl from Philly. This book answers all the questions on what happened to the flyy girl.

Summary: tracy ellison "grant" is back with a vengence!
Review: first off, i must commend mr. tyree for taking tracy to the next level with this novel. his writing style has most DEFINITELY matured since flyy girl, i LOVE to see how authors transform, becoming better at their craft...though i must say, the writing style of this book is slightly different than flyy girl, read this book and you'll understand what i'm talking about...

now that i've given omar his props, i gotta tell you about tracy's transformation in this novel. let me start off by saying, that you'll be able to tell that tracy is tracy. though she's about 28 through the course of the novel (when omar's not flipping the story back to tracy's story of how she made it to the big screen, once you read the book you'll know what i mean). the scene where she reunites with victor, now qadeer muhammad, had me rolling hysterically. but i have to tell you, you'll definitely love reading about how tracy deals with stardom in this book, once again omar is on point... i can't wait to see you at the book signing in greensboro on the 31st omar! yet another commendable one for the books...which has me thinking, or you thinking about writing about how tracy deals with being middle aged? mmmm...a sequel to a sequel sounds in order to me...

Summary: SHAMEFUL SALES PITCH FOR "FLYY GIRL" MOVIE!
Review: Way too many not so subtle references to the hope/dream/wish that Flyy Girl be made into a movie. Direct quotes from the book: "When is Flyy Girl the movie coming out?" AND "How about making Flyy Girl into a movie?" There are many more!

It is no strange coincidence that he is actually pitching film ideas for Flyy Girl in Hollywood. He could have spared us the readers.

This was a self-aggrandizing work to, about and by Omar Tyree with innumerable egotistical references to himself.

Summary: A HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DISAPPOINTMENT
Review: I really expected a lot more. The only thing this book did was tell us what happened to Tracy. I felt like Omar was building us up for the big climax all the way through the book, but we never got there. The book contained no twists, turns or bumps in the road. If you haven't read Fly Girl, you will even more disappointed.

Summary: NNNNooooooooooo
Review: I did not like for the Love of Money because for me it went too slow. She calmed down too much in this story. I loved Flyy Girl. But this was not working for me. She was not wild. She was just too boring. I would suggest reading this book is there is nothing else to read. But don't spend your money on it.

Summary: Dissappointing
Review: I purchased this book with such high hopes only to be dissapponted. I've read two other book by Omar Tyree, "Flyy Girl"( which I loved) and "Sweet St Louis" (that I also enjoyed.) But to my dismay this was such a let down. This book didn't seemed to have a focus or plot. It just flowed from one uninteresting chapter to another. Tracy, the focus of both "Flyy Girl" and "For the Love of Money," charactor was well developed on a personnal level in the book but other than her thoughts there wasn't anything else to hold your attention other than the hope that you just haven't got to the good part yet. But by page 200 I finally realized there wasn't a good part.

Summary: Fly Gril Returns?
Review: Omar, why didn't you keep her in hidding????? You have a lot to learn about sequels! I hope you read this review...I don't know what the hell to review! This story SUCKED big time. Thats the bottom line here. PLEASE people SAVE YOUR MONEY! If you check my review history, you'll see I've reviewed a lot of books. I have nothing to say about this crap. The book is over 300 pages of nothing! I have never been tortured like that before in my life.

Omar, you amused us with Flyy Girl. I loved Tracy back then and I could identify with her...I have no idea of who she is now! What a let down!
