Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Values for Life Presented Review: The author describes how his drifting youthful ways were transfered into an ordered Marine life to which he still subscribes in his political life. This book describes these key Marine values. Marine values such as courage and loyalty are valued commodities in politics. Marine values such as respect and punctuality have been verified by psychological studies as useful. Some Marine values, such as neatness, are not necessarily qualities that Management studies affirm as being important. Still, overall, this is a book many will find uplifting and of good guidance.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Inspirational! Review: When I approached Gov. Miller for a foreword on my book about ex-Marine Eric R. England, ("Eric England: The Phantom of Phu Bai,") he responded ovewhelmingly: He sent a plaque commemorating Eric England as the catalyst for his own success. He writes in his book, CORPS VALUES, that the example of this Marine inspired Zell to become like him, thus saving his own life and bringing him to his position of leadership today. Zell truly found within the Corps the fabric of integrity he needed to structure his life, and the future of Georgia and American politics. There cannot be enough said in praise of Zell's book, or of the values inculcated via the USMC!

Review: Zen Miller offers probably the most incredible insight on values that parents should adopt and instill onto their children. You don't have to join the Marines to get these values, you just have to be brought up with them, unfortunately not all parents have these values, so I encourage everyone to read this outstanding book.
