Summary: With MORE Bill O'Reillys the world would be a better place
Review: Thanks Bill for a thought provoking message. Bill uses his power and position for the working class American who does not feel like they have a voice. It was a truly inspirational read. Yes, Bill, I am mad as hell too! Thanks for giving us a feeling there IS someone who cares! I saw a lot of myself in Bill's failures and had a good laugh. Most important he reminded me I need friends, Community and I need to work at it and learn from all that has transpired. At 47 years old Bill has helped me fire up my engines and go a 2nd round. A must read! NO Spin Here!!

Summary: This title says what it is.
Review: This book tells you who is looking out for you and who is not looking out for you. If you like O'Reilly, you'll like the book. If you hate O'Reilly, you may be motivated to write a zero or one star review with a cliche bias. If you're not familiar with O'Reilly, you may be enlightened or reassured. Much of which O'Reilly has to say seems like common sense. That's the point. Common sense is the cure for the sickness our nation has been enduring.

Summary: The truth hurts, but it's still the truth...
Review: I've given Who's Looking Out for You five stars, not so much because it merits it on content, a lot of which is, as many reviewers have already stated, based on common sense, but because O'Reilly just gets on with it and tells it like he sees it. Nothing wrong with that. Honest debate is the cornerstone of democracy, not that one would believe it anymore in this age of "resign if we don't agree with you". This book is bound to get under the skin of those who believe that their state, the Feds, and some taxpayer in a higher income bracket should be constantly bailing them out, and that the need for personal responsibility and accountability in building a successful America was finally, and thankfully, put to death in the Clinton era. If you need any proof of that, take a look at some of the one-star reviews of the book here on Amazon. The aggressive and juvenile personal attacks clearly show a fear of the truth, and confirm what I suspected all along, that it's somehow acceptable to be a rude, offensive liberal, but not a plain speaking conservative, or a free-thinking independent like O'Reilly. Shame on them. If, on the other hand, you are open-minded, and want a no-nonsense look at the awful, apathetic state of the nation in the early 21st Century, and how you, the responsible citizen, can make a world of difference in your own life, and the lives of like-minded folks around you, then Bill O'Reilly, as usual, is your man.

Summary: What a load of crap....
Review: Man, what's with this guy? I read the book to try and get some perspective and balance to my point of view (wonder if Bill has taken the time to ever do the same). It only reinforces why this right-wing pseudo-fascist mind set is so harmful to a free society. Don't waste your time. Spend ten minutes watching his show for free. You already know how full of crap this guy is.

Summary: "Shut up! Shut up! Cut his mike!"
Review: Really, this guy's just looking out for his own wallet.

But don't believe me, read the book...

The words in the title of my review are words O'Reilly actually spoke, to someone who had the temerity to disagree with him.

That's not the kind of "edge" this book purports to give one (he claims to tell you how to be a "problem solver.")

Physician, heal thyself.

Summary: Try carrying sand in your mouth
Review: I bought this book on my credit card. The thought of having put my self in debt for reading this crap is enough to make a big man cry. The same boorish behavior this guy demonstrates every night on the Republican proganda machine (=Fox News) is evident here.

As a catholic it wounded me to see the damage done to so many young men by our holy fathers, it saddened me to see those we have elected to high office lie and betray our trust and lead our young men into untimely deaths in iraq.

Lawyers historically have been liars. The media was supposed to be our last bastion of truth. The fourth estate. O'lielly is part of the highly paid crew that has succeeded in bastardising what has remained as our last defence. He and other fifth columnist on Fox News, lie and distort the truth every night in defence of their partisan cause. Walking in lock step with the Republican agenda,as opposed to genuine conservative views, they over-emphazize and bark at the most trivial acts and hold them up as typical of liberal views while minimising and whining at any Republican inconsistencies.

The irony is like one who has committed the Faustian sin and sold his soul to the devil, O'lielly wants the rest to be like him. Become high paid prostitutes.

Summary: Thought Provoking
Review: When I first picked up this book it was not for me but for an exchange student who "found" Bill O'Reilly and was fascinated by him while here last year. In her country you will not find the opportunity to bring up various opinions like we have in the USA, including what is on "The Factor". So, I decided to flip through the pages to see what I bought! Since then, I have sat down and read her book! So, I now must buy another copy to ship overseas. This book was one of the most thought provoking books I have read in years. In this book O'Reilly brings up various topics that are of importance to our culture, now. He gives his opinion on these topics, agree or not, but then he does back up his opinion with the "rest of the story". He not only tells us why, but who, when and the results. He does not tell us what to think. He simply tells us that we should consider the reasons for certain things, comments, or actions. What is the motive behind those who are in our lives or affect our lives? Are they being greedy, helpful, what? There are times he says, and it is more than once, you decide. ME! It is refreshing to find an author that is not telling me how to think, period. Instead it is: here is some information, and, do with it what you will. I must say that I never thought of some of the views he brought up. But, it gave me time to reflect about why he and others believe the way they do. I learned things from this book, valuable things. You will find truth spoken in this book if you go into it with an open mind and take a moment to apply it to those in your family, your friends, co-workers and leaders. Whether his solutions to problems discussed in this book are "right" or "wrong" he at least has tried to solve the problem. Can we say that of many of our politicians? For example, are they problem solvers or are they there for themselves? As Mr. O'Reilly says, "You decide". As for me, I am on my way to buy at least one more copy and maybe more for gifts! I know some people that really need to read this book.

Summary: Exposing hypocrisy
Review: I have a very hard time believing that the people who gave Bill's book one star, actually bought and read this book and were so terribly dissappointed. It's far more likely that these are liberal hacks who one again, LIE to get thier message known.

The people who are buying this book are Bill O'Reilly fans and they will NOT be dissappointed. This is Bill at his best!
