Summary: Epitomy of pandering
Review: Who's looking out for your wallet? That should have been the title of the book.

O'Reilly don't do me any favors. Don't bother looking out for me or for anyone who has a brain and actually uses it.

Summary: The Man Speaks Pure Common Sense!
Review: I am a down the middle type of guy and I just read the book and right-wing or not this book is pure common sense material and America needs to read it. Either the other folks on this review area didn't read the book or they simply don't know what common sense is.
The fact is that anyone; left, right or down the middle -like me can immediately see that he is simply pointing out major flaws in our society today.
I may not know Bill personally but I can tell you, I sure think a whole lot like he does and if that automatically labels me a right-winger then I guess I'll cross the tracks today and join Bill's club!

Summary: A Decent Read
Review: As some of the other reviews have stated, if you've watched "The O'Reilly Factor" then you've pretty much read this book. However, if you're a newcomer to Bill's views, you might want to read through a couple of his books to get a good basis on his views.

The book itself is fairly well written and Bill does a pretty good job of explaining himself. For the most part, he backs up most of his arguments with facts, with some hypothesis and inferential material tossed in. While he does seem to be more based in conservative views, he's not as extreme as some of the writers and show hosts out there. So, don't expect outright, severe bashing of all liberal views.

Basically, I look at all of these types of books as a pool of information that can be tapped into to help people decide their own viewpoint. Al Franken, Michael Moore, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity... They all do the same thing, but with different viewpoints. I suggest taking them all in and forming your own conclusion. Politics and the world forum are a lot more interesting if you do.

Summary: Why isn't this book selling?
Review: I think I know the answer.

There's nothing new here.

Bill O'Reilly is a composite hypocrite.

The title suggest Bill is looking out for us.

Oh, goody!

His real problem?

Simple. It's all been said and done before.

Bill's just a right wing retread.

He has Ann Coulter's charm, and Bill Bennett's legs.

Goodness.

Summary: Common sense and honesty
Review: Just read it ....open your mind give it a fair chance. Then make your own decision. Don't be fooled by the intolerant left bias, don't accept what they say without checking it out for yourself...you decide for your self 9thats what they are afraid of) don't get twisted up in their hate. Just read some of twisted reviews against this book they sound paranoid and irrational not to mention immature! its best to hear both sides then decide for yourself!

Review: Just read it...open your mind give it a fair chance and make your own decision! Thats the way it works. You decide! Most of it is common sense. Don't be fooled by the bias of the left and get caught up in their hate and intolernace!

Summary: He phoned in the text
Review: The book reads like something O'Reilly phoned in to his PR firm. If you're looking for something more substantial than what you'll see on cable, don't spend your time or money.

Summary: Bill O-Lie-Rey Strikes again
Review: FOrtunately I didnt spend money buying this drivvel, but i was trapped at my boring cousins house for thanksgiving, and found a copy of this book, and thought "wow, now theres something i can enjoy less than the company of my annoying relatives".

I was right. This book is so jam packed full of historical innacuracies and eronious conclusions that its laughable. You'd really have to be a mindless moron not to spot the flaws in his arguments. Not to mention he's been fingered for reveiwing himself under false names.

Al Franken's book is pretty much bang on, this guy is a paid mouthpeice for the Republican party. Pretending to be a jounalist. He makes out like hes a nice fella, looking out for us.

Dont be fooled, this is PROPAGANDA.

Summary: Buy this book
Review: If you like to be told what to do. If you like to be told how to live buy this book. If you would like to be an automaton buy this book. If you like being a sheep who follows the crowd buy this book. If you think you're morally superior to others buy this book. Finally, if you like playing frisbee with your dog but don't have an actual frisbee to use, buy this book.

Summary: O'Reilly Delivers, Stays on Theme
Review: More fluff or detail could have been added to this pithy book so it would have been a 300-page tome; however, this book is for you if you are looking for a direct explanation of his who's-looking-out-for-you philosophy. It doesn't stray much from its self-titled theme.
