Rating: Summary: The Talk Show Host Review: This book is just the tip of the iceberg. Billory's performance was the biggest charde ever put over on the American public. Clinton was the worst president since Warren Harding. Strong words to follow.
Rating: Summary: Another Right Wing Hack Job Review: ... Sorry Mr. Patterson, I do not buy your argument, in the least,... If you want to hear someone incessantly droning about Clinton's personal faults while trying to squeeze water from a rock, then by all means get this book. It's hard for me to believe that this book, as of today, is number two on the Amazon bestseller list.... No wonder why the right wing doesn't support increased spending on education...critical thinking in this country could be dangerous.
Rating: Summary: We spoil it but it's others' fault Review: It seems this guy wants to be hired by the Bush 's Junta. Maybe he could replace Condoleeza. Just promise you won't inflict us another book like this one.
Rating: Summary: Ann Coulter, "Slander" Review: I could only read about 15 pages of this book before I had to put it down. Coulter is the paid and pampered hatchet woman of the right. The level of her discourse makes her a highly paid pornographer. Even if you are a conservative, or neo-conservative, what is here is not going to help you come to any positive and productive conclusions about any aspect of politics in the USA.
Rating: Summary: Remember: Everything bad is Clinton's fault! Review: You will hear this again and again in the next few months, especially if the whack attack on Iraq goes awry and Buffy and Hildy come back in bags. People like the author will start doling out reams and reams of psuedo-information detailing how Clinton is the Devil and how he caused all the problems in the world; not American's greed, arrogance and our unwillingness to support real presidential candidates with real ideas. Clinton is just another rich, white, middle-aged, married guy we elected into the White House; expecting him to be different from the last rich, white, middle-aged, married guy we elected. And now right-wing, big oil and Lockheed backed nutcases want to crucify him. Don't believe this nonsense.
Rating: Summary: Fails to Ultimately Deliver Review: Admittedly, I was a Clinton supporter. I first read this book mostly because I had an interest in how 'the other half thought.' So I went in with an open mind, expecting to have my beliefs challenged by what I was told was a thought provoking portrayal. However, for all of those who can relate to my story, do not invest in this book. Although Patterson is a gifted story teller, that is simply all this book is- stories. Patterson spends an indordinate amount of time on Clintons personal life, and not enough adressing how his direct diplomatic decisions hurt America. In the end, this book is a worthwhile read for Republicans and anti-Clintonians who are looking to relate to a well regarded figure. However, if like me, you are looking to rethink your 20th century analyzations, this book is not as good as advertised.
Rating: Summary: A must read! Review: Bill Clinton may have caused damage to this country that can't be repaired. This book gives great detail and is a real eye opener. Liberals will hate it because all that matters to them is intentions but for any fact driven reader this will shed light on today's dangerious world.
Rating: Summary: WOW... Review: Bill Clinton just never ceases to amaze me. Book itself was written very well. Not to 'wordy', just very of fact. It was just so astounding that it was difficult to put down.
Rating: Summary: Yet Another Fine Work of Fiction by Regnery Press! Review: Yessir, folks! The same people that gave us Gary Aldrich's debunked-to-heck-and-back fantasies are now giving their racist Scaifeoid patrons another book to buy in bulk and make into a fake "bestseller." Here's a hint: Unlike what Mr. Patterson here says, the President doesn't carry around the launch codes. One of his aides does that, in a briefcase. So if the codes were lost, it wasn't President Clinton that lost them. This is just one of the many untruths to be found in this book. But, then again, the persons who are the target audience for this book don't really care whether or not it's accurate -- they just plain hate Bill Clinton for a) winning two Presidential elections fair and square, b) putting the country on a good financial and economic footing, and c) being on excellent terms with our neighbors around the globe. The current Unelected Fraud cannot claim any of those things, so his partisans must trash his lawfully elected predecessor.
Rating: Summary: It made me angry...! Review: ...to read how Clinton and his staffers viewed the military, how Clinton lost the Nuclear "Go Codes" and waffled on responding to terrorists attacks (Bin Laden in the cross hairs). Mr. Patterson gives readers a unique inside view of the scandalous Clinton Presidency. A must read!
