Summary: Not Worth The Paper It's Written On!
Review: According to TruthorFiction.com:

President Clinton Once Delayed a Critical Attack on Iraq Because He was Watching a Golf Game - Disputed!

Summary of the eRumor The email quotes a new book by Lt. Col Robert Patterson, who served as a military aide to President Clinton from 1996 through 1998. Patterson says that planes were ready to launch against Saddam Hussein in response to a blatant violation of the terms that ended the Gulf War. Clinton is described as having told the American people that action against Saddam was imminent.

Patterson says that while the critical window of opportunity for conducting the attack in the darkness of night faded, President Clinton was attending a golf tournament in Manassas, Virginia, and repeatedly turned down urgent telephone requests from National Security Adviser Sandy Berger The Truth The allegations are in Patterson's book, "Dereliction of Duty: The Eyewitness Account of How Bill Clinton Compromised National Security." Excerpts were published on March 10, 2003 in the New York Daily News.

The news contacted former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger who said the golf tournament story never happened. The book makes other allegations including that Clinton "sexually molested" a female Air Force office aboard Air Force One, once lost the nuclear launch codes that would be necessary for defending America from nuclear attack, and didn't seem able to make a decision that would have taken out Osama Bin Laden.

Critics of the book say it's another in a series of anti-Clinton books from publisher, Regnery press, and cannot be authenticated outside of the author's allegations. Supporters of the book say it provides important information about how Bill Clinton failed to keep America safe.

Q. What kind of author writes a book full of claims that cannot be substantiated?

A. Those who write for the National Enquirer!

Summary: Military rift
Review: As far as the Clinton admin goes the record is clear and this book arrives a bit late to shed anything we don't already know about the self centeredness of Bill and Hill. However i believe it's value is in the details regarding the total disregard that the Clinton's had for the military and the demoralizing effect that their attitudes had on the people who serve.

Summary: Very interesting insight in this book
Review: The author clearly knows what he is talking about, he gives very detailed accounts of living with the President for 2 years, by his side 24/7 and having to carry the Nuclear Football.
Very interesting account of how Former Pres Clinton was lets say, less than careful about things he did.
I really found it interesting about the speeches in which he lied to the public about our nuclear arsenal.
Very good read for anyone, no wonder its ranked the 10th best seller

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: If you are at all wondering why our country had to go to war with Iraq, you should read this book! The author does not personally attack the former President, but he provides an honest and unbiased view of how former President Clinton, the former First Lady and their administration treated the United States miliary as second class citizens, and time after time ignored their duties as representatives of the American people. This book was an eye-opener for this former Clinton supporter!

Summary: Forget the one star reviews. A Great Book.
Review: They were obviously written by the Clinton Mafia who probably didn't even read the book. This book is a must read for those who want to know the truth about Slick Willie and his gang of thieves. Have plenty of hot water available, you may feel like taking a shower when you are finished.

Summary: Clinton-A disgrace and danger to America
Review: This author has a lot of courage. He has to tell this story or he would be hurting the country further. We American people need to make sure we don't elect (I did not vote for him.) another immoral President who has no character or integrity. Clinton's deeds will affect our country for years to come. They already have. It's sad there are people out there who back Clinton and other liberals who work from the same paradigm...that money and Hollywood endorsement is all that matters. I'll take GWB's integrity and character and genuine love for country and support of the military any day!

Summary: dereliction of professionalism
Review: I find it interesting that one who claims to have such reservations about outing his former boss then proceeds to dive in with such commitment and seemingly reckless abandon. That sort of shifty behavior is reminiscent of McNamara and others. It smacks of the same sort of determination that other military heads have taken in equally dubious, ambiguous tasks: parlaying their actual war experience into a "war on drugs" and making whimsical, inexplicable decisions during actual wars (Powell and Schwartzkopff during The Gulf War).

What is informative and worthwhile about this book is that it deftly sticks to mainly the issues instead of hyperbole about "moral indiscretions" in the bedroom. Here's where I differ from conservatives who love to lambast all of liberalism and libertarianism: I can concede when the opposing author has made some valid points.

What is ultimately bothersome about this work is that it deflects blame and scapegoats onto a man already "tried and convicted" by the increasingly popular conservative press, when if anything blame should be shared with him. Buzz Patterson does very little self-disclosure and too much demonizing and then takes the money and runs.

I always thought the military had higher standards than that.

Summary: John L. Graves you missed the point
Review:
Right-wing fanatics continue to blame the Clinton presidency

I disagree; this book isn't trying to win an election. Damn, you wouldn't release a book aimed at some political goal this far before the start of the campaign season.

It's about those who have no military experience should not be dictating military policy. They shouldn't be committing the men and women in the armed services to dangerous missions as mere token gestures for expedient political goals.

Case in point Somalia 1993. Clinton and his new world order adherents wielded the armed services as a sledgehammer ready to swat any fly. They even refused a proper deployment in the region resulting in the token force of the US army needing to be rescued the UN forces in the area. And what does he do after the unfortunate turn of events in the area. He then deploys an overwhelming force in the area, but with no intention other than to slowly withdraw. Talk about half measures, as soon as it became politically unfavorable he runs and hides.

You could read this book without references to names and recognize how appalling personal agendas are to a military structure.

Summary: Gut wrenching story of presidential abuse!
Review: This book is a MUST read for every American! I enjoyed reading this book because Mr. Patterson did not have any political agenda. He has a very high standard of ethics and integrity which I expect from all within the White House. This book is about the near destruction of our national security by the Clintons, their lack of respect for our military and their abuse of the position of Commander in Chief.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: clinton-not the author betrayed his country
Review: I am amazed at the people that can still run to Clinton's defense after reading this. The author has written a brave and well written account of the most morally deficient president that this country has ever had. We are truly lucky that during this time of crisis we have someone in the white house that is the exact opposite of Clinton. Clinton still thinks that he has the american people fooled. I hope that every american will read this book and let "the big jerk" know how we feel.
