Summary: You gotta be kiddin' me...
Review: That's what I kept saying to myself while reading this book...."You gotta be kiddin' me, he expects me to believe that?" Or "What? He draws this conclusion from that event?" Gimme a break already. Thank goodness I didn't spend money on this book, I just read it in the bookstore. Oh, and by the way, this tome is very poorly written, the guy should take a writing class.

Summary: A ridiculously low blow by chickenhawk right wingers
Review: So now it seems the only garbage right wingers neo con chickenhawks can spew has to come from nobodys like this so-called colonel. How disgustingly un-American for an air force colonel to come out now and attack a President he used to work for. And like another reviewer said, what ever happened to keeping military info confidential? It's obvious confidentiality only matters when its the right wingers need it to conceal their ulterior plans. Browse through this book at a library only, it's not worth taking serious as it was obviously quickly put to press to buy more political capital in anticipation of another bogus election in 04.

Summary: Can we still impeach him?
Review: When I bought this book I thought it might be another biased rant on Clinton by the right. I was wrong. This book is an objective piece that brings to light the failures of the Clinton foreign policy. Yes, Clinton did a pretty fair job on domestic issues, but according to this book, he had no stragtegy for foreign policy. That is appalling. I would be interested to hear the Clintonites defend themselves against these charges.

Summary: The Book We've Been Waiting For
Review: For those that have given 1-star reviews: You either fully believe that this miltary officer himself was totally lying and delusional...or, you have no problem with the facts laid out very clearly in this book. The intelligent assumption is that this highly decorated officer has his integrity in tact and is not lying. How anyone with a mind that works properly can dismiss this account is somewhat intriguing. This kind of 'ignoring' of the facts and circumstances is EXACTLY what Clinton did in office. Y'all and Clinton are one-and-the-same in many respects. Nonetheless, this book won't be the last.

Summary: Grossly inflated book!
Review: Would have made a great magazine article, but not nearly enough meat for a book. Only about half of this slim volume is actual writing - most of the rest consists of a timeline (not very useful or interesting) and a chapter from a book by another writer. While the content was interesting, it could be fully documented in a 5 page article.

Summary: Just to clarify something
Review: To the guy way back from St Paul, the President and the aide carry the codes. Patterson was the aide. Clinton lost his own.

Someone also said most popular president in recent history. Wasn't there a president in "recent history" who won 49 states? The biggest electoral win ever.

A lot of people calling him a liar with much less credibility than the author, and no real way to know.

P.S. I love Ann "Slander" Coulter.

Summary: Insightful and Provocative
Review: Wonderfully interesting book. My only question: In this era of George Bush Jr.'s offensive war-mongering, isn't it more timely, relevant, and pressing pressing to get the low-down on Dubya's dereliction? What we really NEED these days is bold testimony from those persons who can further shed light on Bush's 18-month AWOL from the National Guard during the Vietnam War. Now that'd be REALLY fascinating!

Summary: The Emperor Has No Clothes
Review: I have read with deep regret people who rate this book with low ratings. You can tell who has and who has not read the book. I have and it's brillant and well written by a man who obviously did his job in a most difficult setting. Thank you, Mr. Patterson for having the courage to write this.

Summary: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Review: It's all Clinton's fault. It's all Clinton's fault. Blah! Blah! Blah!

Give it a rest.

Summary: Clinton at his worst
Review: This book verified actions that I was afraid were true. I have often wondered why Military leaders didn't quite trust him. Now I know. I read this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down as it unfolds what Mr. Patterson had the courage to write. It must be read by everyone.
