Summary: A Waste of Time...
Review: This book isn't worth anyone wasting their time with. I guess if you're the type of person that likes to sit around and gossip about others, and you are ultra-conservative you might get something out of this book. But for everyone else, it's just a waste.

Bill cheats at golf? Noooooo......... Hillary isn't a pleasant person? Who would have thought that. A civilian who never served in the military doesn't know the proper time and way to salute? get out of here.

The only thing I thought was informative about the book was the excerpt of Casper Weinberger's book at the end. And the only reason I thought that was informative was because it's so ridiculously wrong in light of what happened on 9/11. It paints an excellent picture of how the neo-cons were still obsessed with star wars in light of the changing dangers of the would that we now live in.

Pick something else up, no matter which way your politics leans. You'll be better off.

Summary: Left-wing bias
Review: Considering that the left-wing biased media ignore books like this one, really debunkes Erik "Lying Liar" Alterman's book. This is a great ans scary book. Clinton was a weapon of mass terror.

Summary: eye opening
Review: Quick read, very informative. Cannot put this down.

Summary: 9/11 Commission: The REAL Story
Review: Read this book to understand who's really to blame for 9/11. In spite of what Sandy Berger, Richard Clarke and Madeline Albrigth have to say, Patterson clearly lays it out with nothing to hide, no CYA agenda. The Clinton Administration had 8 years to combat terror. Bush had 8 months. Who do you think dropped the ball? Patterson tells you.

Great book and quick read. Author was a career military officer and not a politician.

Also, to the reviewer who claimed that the Bush Administration reviewed this book and called it rumor. No such thing happened. Do the research. Besides, I'm pretty sure the Bush folks are busy actually fighting a war on terror (instead of talking about it) and I'm also sure that book reviews are not their thing.

Summary: Consider its sources...
Review: This book is a fine example of the hate-mongering of right-wing interests during the Clinton years. I have read a Bush White House review of the book, by his press secretary, condemning it as an example of irresponsible and unsubstantiated rumors, printed by a publisher who specializes in this kind of writing. It is an unfortunate by-product of democracy.

Summary: A "Must Have" Book
Review: Get the ultimate insider scoop on the Clinton White House years, written by the military aide who was in charge of the "football" - the case of nuclear launch codes for the U.S. arsenal. Read the book and find out what President Clinton did with his nuclear "keys" - unbelievable!

Summary: Here it is Bill Clinton at his best.
Review: All I can say is Bill Clinton is the worst president of the 20th century. I can only thank God after his numerous blunders in office the United Stares still existes. His blatant disregard for our military and nation security is unforgivable. I think that his leaving the nuclear codes behind is a treasonable act and Clinton should be prosecuted for his negligence. What would have happened per se if America was attacked at that paticular moment? Whats to say we might even had been to late to respond to an attack because of his gross incompetance. I personally thank Buz for such a great book of very important insight. I will breathe easier every day I get out of bed a lazy, incompatant bum is not in the White House.

Summary: I¿ll pray everyone who rates this book negative will burn!!
Review: This is a great book, but you should also look at all of Anne Coulter's books. She is the leading spokeswoman for the Republican party because she knows and speaks our truth. Quotes from her:

• "I think women should be armed but should not be allowed to vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it. It's always the liberal atheists who want more money for education, more money on child care, more money on day care."-- Politically Incorrect, 2/26/01

• "...a cruise missile is more important than Head Start."-- Speech, 11/01, rebroadcast by C-Span in Jan. 2002

• "Soldiers are just cowards with their backs against the wall. The lowest IQ men in our society, those incapable of normal careers enlist. Their choice in life; prison or the military. Some will have to die in the support of our cause."-- Intervention Magazine, 11/06/03

• "We hate them. Americans don't want to make Islamic fanatics love us. We want to make them die. There's nothing like horrendous physical pain to quell anger. A couple of well-aimed nuclear weapons will get our opposition out of the way."-- Column, 9/25/02

• "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."-- Column, 9/13/01

• "We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors."-- Speech to Conservative Political Action Conference, January 2002

• "The only beef Enron employees have with top management is that management did not inform employees of the collapse in time to allow them to get in on the swindle."-- Column, 1/24/02

• "My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building and blow them up."-- New York Observer interview, 8/20/02

• "Then there are the 39 million greedy geezers collecting Social Security. The greatest generation rewarded itself...we should take that money and use it for more tax breaks."-- WorldNetDaily, 12/10/03

• "God help us if the Democrats ever waver on its major planks: tax breaks for the poor and lower middle class, women's rights, and no prayer in schools. (We could save a step by figuring out how to automatically abort all future non-Christians."-- WorldNetDaily, 12/10/03

• "My hero is the Ex-House Speaker, Newt Gingrich, GOP presidential prospect, and architect of the Republican Party's failed impeachment of President Clinton. We only failed because Newt was having an affair. Who could blame Newt? His wife went and got sick with cancer. That was completely different from Clinton.
Unlike Clinton, Newt was smart enough to divorce his wife after she got sick and could no longer drag him down with her.

Lastly for the negative reviewers; how dare you stumblingly expose your miscreant incompetence with rantings against the Patriot Act. In my mind Americans have too many Constitutional rights. The Bill of Rights should not even apply to the blue-collar middle classes who are too stupid to get involved. No Bush hating media or newspapers should have 'freedom of the press,' since they only have their rights and freedoms because the rich allow them to have them. Ever see some poor slob or middle class idiot who owned a newspaper company?

You defamatory libelous, uneducated swine should keep your comments to yourselves or we'll send your job overseas. Go out and burn this book now! I'll pray everyone who rates this book negative will burn in hell!

Summary: Star System -- Schmar System
Review: Like the one star raters -- fakers, liars and dopes, I have not read this Book ! But I liked the author interview and so am buying it.

Until amazon puts some kind of Proof of Purchase requirement on the ability to review a book, I'll give all the books I am buying five stars so as to average out at least one of the liars.

Review to follow.

Summary: Wow, the left and right wing crazies love a tragedy
Review: I didn't vote for Bill C. and I don't really care for him, but he acted like every US president before him (including GWB) before Sept 11th. We only attacked terrorist targets we were certain about and only after they had attacked American targets. It seemed reasonable at the time. The rules changed after Sept 11th, and our President has done a great job of dealing with this radically changed mission.

But on the far right and on the far left, the fruitcakes are coming out of the woodwork trying to gain political capital and personal profit out of this tragic attack on the US. Maybe Reagan shouldn't have provided Bin Laden with money. Maybe G. Bush senior should have taken out Sadam when he had the chance. Maybe Clinton should have taken a harder line with the Taliban. But this is because we know now where this all was heading. We didn't know that then, and our Presidents for better or worse did what they felt was right. And frankly I don't have major problems with how they dealt with our enemies (would you really have had Clinton give official recognition to the Taliban in exchange for Bin Laden? That was the demand he refused. Would you have had Reagon leave the Afghans to the Soviets? My guess is no to both.)

To the left wing and right wing nuts that are trying to trash our past Presidents like arm chair quarterbacks explaining how they would win the Super Bowl: get a life. Do something helpful for this nation and stop trying to divide it. You're giving comfort to our enemies by directing our gaze backwards with bitter hindsight, rather than forward with the sure hope of our victory over terror. Stop trying to profit on tragedy, it is a most despicable trade.
