Summary: Read the book before you write a review
Review: Some people who write negative reports about this book just haven't bothered to read the book. One reviewer said this young was disgruntled because he didn't make General. This young man turned down a promotion to Bird Colonel which certainly would him on his way to the top.If you had read the book you would have known that.Don't write awful reviews when you are ignorant to the facts.

Summary: What a pile of garbage!!!
Review: Nothing but a bunch of drivel from a disgruntal jar-head.

Summary: Look at all the left wing cronies trashing the reviews.
Review: I wasn't going to review this book but with all the left wing cronies purposely trashing this book I had to put my 5 stars in. I bet most of this cronies didn't even read the book. Anyway, this book is Definitely a must read.

Summary: A Weak Effort By a Small Man
Review: The right wingers love to try and connect disparate dots in creating Clinton conspiracies, and this "book" feeds perfectly into their presumptions of the worst.

The author was clearly more than a little bit bitter about being passed over for General Officer rank (although his father was a 2 star) and left the USAF a twisted and unhappy Colonel...see chapter 1 for his insightful drivel on the negative impacts of affirmative action on the military and the "political promotions" that preumably cost him his seat on the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The fact that he chose to cash in on his time in the trusted position of Military Aide to the President, and thus betray the insitutional trust between Presidents and their MilAides says it all for me. Cheap shots for cash.

The content of this 100 page pamphlet is written at about an 8th grade reading level, which seems about right. A coincidence that the readers of it are the strongest supporters of our current 8th grade reading level POTUS? Probably not.

This [weak] series of vignets spins wild stories out of scattered and random observation of a guy with little tidbits of data. As they say a little knowledge can be dangerous.

Although he felt like he was a big shot and in the middle of the vortex that is the US presidency, the fact of the matter is that he was standing out in the hallway when decisions were being made.

Reading the other reviews of this drivel only confirms my worst assumptions about the "conservatives" of our country....

Summary: Illuminating but not Surprising
Review: Those who defend the Clintons against the "vast right-wing conspiracy" have another enemy to add to the list.

Colonel Patterson, like many, found Clinton to be the charming rogue. Bill was quite personable and gracious in his personal dealings with the Colonel, while Hillary was every bit the witch you might think. I most enjoyed the contrast between the trips where Bill was by himself eating barbecue and yukking it up with his friends on Air Force One, and those times that Hillary was aboard and the journey was somber with salads and little laughter.

I wonder what's in those file boxes that Hillary brings on every trip, thought the colonel. Could they be the missing files that the court was looking for? They certainly traveled everywhere she did. No explanation, though. I guess we'll just have to wonder.

The colonel was only with the Clinton's for a few years, but was able to suffer the indignity of being made caddy to Hillary's fat Rodham brothers on several occasions. In fact, most of Clinton's friends expected military officers to tote golf clubs. The Colonel was also around when Bill sexually harassed an attractive female military officer. Still waiting to hear the outrage from NOW or Anita Hill.

Most importantly, Patterson saw firsthand how little regard Clinton had for National Security. The things that Clinton could have done in the 90s to prevent 911 can only be speculated on, but Patterson fills in some of the blanks. He offers specific moments like when the President was too busy watching golf to bomb the bad guys.

The book is short and quick to read and worth an afternoon.

Summary: Tells about Hillary too...
Review: This book is a helpful refresher for those who forgot the crimes of the Clintons when they were in the White House.
In addition, it contains very interesting facts about Hillary, facts that should be kept in mind when she runs for president.

Summary: All should read
Review: Very informative and well done. Suitable for all ages.

Summary: Poignant without being personal
Review: This book confirms the callous indifference with which Bill Clinton handled the duties of the office of the President of the United States. From natural disasters to foreign affairs, this president brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, "dropping the ball".
I found the authors accounts to be factual without resorting to personal attacks. I felt the small anecdotes offered a wider window into the character of a man who seemed to have only contempt for the Constitution and through the use of executive orders tried to run the country like a king doling out edicts to his subjects.
I recommend this book to anyone who would contemplate voting for Hillary Clinton for president in 04 or 08. (I know she said she wasn't going to run, but she also said something about a vast right wing conspiracy!)

Summary: Thank Goodness those 8 years are over
Review: I was never a Clinton supporter, and God help us if we even dare THINK about EVER electing another Clinton into the most prestigious job in our great Country.
This book I am sure is not the last of the shenanigans and the seriously dangerous attitude taken by the entire administration.
We all "heard" that Hillary ran the show behind the scenes, that "he" was scared of "her".
We have here an eyewitness account of that scenario and others, some small, some critical, but important CHARACTER and NATIONAL SECURITY issues that has confirmed my greatest fears, that we, in fact, had NO real leadership for at least 2 years of that dreadful person who takes his place in history as the absolute worst President who ever served us.
That goes for you, too Hillary - You carpet bagger. Go home.

Summary: A Fascinating Insight Into America's Worst President EVER
Review: I have noticed an interesting trend in reading the reviews of this book. Whenever there is a negative review, it is not written in a way that addresses the specifics of what is to be found in the book. Rather, the negative reviews, to a fault, are nothing more than what can only be called "Spam reviews." They are utterly worthless in meaningful content, and have been posted for one reason only: to drive down the ratings for this book and indulge in nothing but hate-filled invective about George W. Bush which isn't the subject of this book. The book is about Bill Clinton, and by an eyewitness to Bill Clinton's conduct as Commander In Chief. It's amusing how these spam reviewers of the Left lack the guts to think that there is actually something as ordinary as *factual information* by which they can repudiate anything Colonel Patterson has to say. Instead, we get "Bush is the real evil one" and then we get other disses about how Colonel Patterson should not have written this because it's wrong for a military officer to write this. In fact, Colonel Patterson was not on active duty at the time he wrote this, and he has as much right to report what he saw so the citizens can realize what a terrible President Bill Clinton was now that he is a private citizen. The fact that this book can only attract spam reviews from the Clintonistas shows how monumentally insecure they are when it comes to defending their hero's honor.
