Review: a work that delighfully pries open rigid brain cells, stimulates them to expand marvelous new synapses and leaves the reader brimming with revolutionary ideas.Unusual, unique, elegantly researched but hope-filled theorized notions that will rock your world. Sitchin takes you into the outer limits and you become the better for it. Very entertaining reading.

Summary: This book answers many questions.
Review: Although on a very busy business trip, I felt compelled to finish this book and read it during any free time. I am eager to read his other books now and would be interested in communicating with others who have read his works. His theories make a lot of sense, are well-documented and answer many questions. I liked the scientific way he presented things. It still leaves plenty of room for your own personal religious beliefs.

Summary: Deeply disturbing as only something that rings true can be
Review: As person of strong religious conviction, I read this book with an open mind knowing that should the author stray from the bible's context I would know it both mentally and spiritualy. For me the book of Genesis has always been the most facinating book on earth, and long before reading Mr. Sitchen's work I myself have sat down and with a concordance found many of the words suspect of far deeper meaning and import. It has always been my personal belief that the truth of it all is far more fabulous then any of us could possibly imagine. Mr. Sitchen's affection for the book of genesis is obvious from the first chapter. With his decisiveness and scholarly approach, he vindicates it. The things learned in this book for me are not about entertainment, but about facing a reality about our existance and our purpose and even our fate that goes far beyond the end of my mere nose. And yours too.

Summary: From Genesis to Revelation -
Review: Back in 1993, when i first read of Mr. Sitchin book, "The Wars of God and Men" it gives me the new windows that seems did not thought in the school, and i'm eager to read more about the whole story. I bought the whole series; "The Earth Chronicles". having had a Biblical background, I'm not confused the way Mr. Sitchen presented the whole plot, in fact, i believed- WE ARE NOT ALONE!..I was realy wondering, why only NOW? people begin to realized and think we are not ALONE!.. The Bible repeatedly mention it long time ago that WE ARE NOT ALONE!.. the plot and information Mr. Sitchin gave are very powerful with great authority and the evidence he presented provides a solutions to the whole enigma of human existence and the drama of spiritual quest that help me conclude my long search for answer about the Biblical pronouncement and the present geopolitical scenario now shaping the globe. Mr. Sitchin's 'Genesis Revisited' Is very significant in his chapter 13th, when it comes also to the Book of Revelation 19:19; 16:14,16 kjv. (try to compare those words)... "Then the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered togethere to make war against the rider of the horse and his army". it says here that Nations of the worlds will unite and cooperate/togethere.. (e.g.. NATO?.. perhaps the UN?..or the so called Space fearing Nations?) to make war against the rider of the horse and his armies and... is none other than.. Christ and followed by his armies/angels in heavens (verse 11). due to some technical terminology.. horse refered to is some kind of an aerial vihicle or some sort of an space-cavalry (Jeremiah 4:13,19 kjv) the bible simply called it a HORSE, we must take note that the rider of the horse is to make judges and to make WAR and the scene of battle would be the Earth aero-space-the Armageddon Here again we must remember that the worlds leaderships or the geopolitical scene it seems preparing together for united mankind for a battle/war against any intruders what they supposed and believed as an alien threats to detect (SETI) using our very advanced technology in space probes and shield/satelite. isn't it this is what the two former leaders (Reagan and Gorbachev) wanted to prepared for,in the 80's?.. Does it mean?..CHRIST may be mistaken as an ALIEN invader with his angels/armies? since we do not know his true personal identity, Earthlings or the would not hesitate to make war as it was predicted in the Bible. He will appear in or (every eyes will see him) different TV screen in the whole world day nor night via satelite beam from space above to earths channels, when the day comes time of his appearance people will mourn. technological advancement we are now possessing is an preperation for the future scenario herald for an 'secret anticipation' of the world leadership that been accelerated by none other than the former US President Ronald Reagan when he publicly announced his vision as well as his fears and concern about the peace and safety of the American people and the future to the rest of the whole Planet Earth. These is all about the space shield and offensive system against any intruders domestic and international known as the 'SDI/Star Wars'. although lots of debates agianst the idea. but, in the end its gain a supports even to the former USSR secretary Michael Gorbachev. records show that East and West are going to open theire doors to each other- the beginning of new era of hope and cooperation. it seems to unite and cooperate for a common cause -Space? & more specifically, a DANGER FROM SPACE to all the nations on Earth' the idea is rightful as well its intention but alas.. I do believed the Bible as it's put it and how the 'Genesis Revisited' shows it the real shaping of things; Historically,Scientifically,Politically and the ambition to go to the Red Planet. And on the question of.. IS MODERN SCIENCE CATCHING UP WITH ANCIENT KNOWLEDGE? the Biblical answer was this. '...until the times come for God to restore everything, as he promised long time through his holy prophets' Acts 3:21 kjv.

Summary: Excellent book by a very intelligent man
Review: Genisis Revisited and The 12th Planet are very scholarly works. Anyone who has studied Geology and found anomolies that didn't make sense, will find a key to why Sitchin says what he does, because we all aren't versed in ancient languages like he is, it should lead to other reading for the curious. To follow this line of thinking, do read The Hidden History of Human Ancestory, or author Charles Happgood, and a few others. Excellent for those not stuck in a cave.

Review: Here is something you don't see every day, a Christian who beleives in alien life, UFO's, Conspiracy throries and the possibility that maybe we've misinterpreted the Bible all these years! I do beleive in God and I do beleive in Jesus, but Mr. Sitchins works are simply too hard to ignore. it IS a fact the creation account of Genesis, the Flood account and the tower of Babel and other accounts in Genesis are downsized versions (abridged) of their ancenstors accounts from Meopotamia. It's foolish to assume that all of the ancient myths are just sroies for fantasy and not early mans attempt at jouranalistic reporting. Sitchin also proves what Chritians have been saying for years, THERE IS SCIENCE IN THE BIBLE!!!!!!!! While the very validity of evolution is coming into question by an alarmingly growing number of scientists nowadays (most of whome have no religious loyalties by the way) portions of Sitchins works may be discredited, but it is still a worthwhile read.

Review: How is it that these individuals evolved on a planet which periodically scorches and freezes? The absurdity of the idea of a habitable planet which orbits the sun in a wild ellipse every 3600 years and happens to be several times larger than the Earth speaks for itself. This is what happens when a linguist delves into science.

Summary: Genesis Revisited: Next Stop--Nabiru.
Review: I am an amateur astronomer, so I was very interested as well as concerned when I first started to read this book. To start off, I agree with the premise we are not the only beings out there, (or even within our solar system). But, his knowledge of Ancient Sumerian does nothing for his astronomy. For one thing,Uranus & Neptune & Pluto & Charon(Plutos moon-oh yes, it has one) are not made of H2O, but of Methane, Ammonia & other very toxic gases. Uranus was indeed known in ancient times, & there is the possibility its phases (like Venus) were viewed. There are several Egyptian & Babylonian & Greek & Chinese astronomy charts that show it moving across the sky, although in some cultures it was not thought of as a planet. After all, there was no such thing as our infamous-- Light Pollution. The other idea of Nabiru being twice the orbit of Pluto, & the planet not only being there, but viable for life, is unlikely in the extreme. Although, as Pioneer I & II and Voyager I & II showed, truth is usually stranger than fiction. He does though save his best for last, especially his comments on the unusual features of Mars. I truly wish it would show ancient pyramids with compounds of jet fighters & all sorts of alien apparatus & the Face! My lord, what a Face! This book is a little outdated, as the real Face showed up recently under the Mars Surveyor. It did not look like anyone I would care to know. But all in all, what he does do is get a lot of people excited to start looking into astronomy,(NASA has a great web site by the way, and you can download lots of incredible pictures, from Hubble and others) religion & our past. That is not a bad thing. And it is interesting, that the further into the past we go, the more advanced mankind was. Like many readers I am sure, it was difficult to put down. One piece of advice, he is so enthusiastic about his subject, and the reader can get very carried away, so .... keep your head. As one famous British Astronomer is reported to have stated, Every self-respecting Alien, should turn left at Pluto and keep right on going.

Summary: The best scientific book i have ever read
Review: I first heard about this book on a video that i watched. There was in interview with Sitchin and i got the book from my local library. As a bit of a sceptic, with no religious up-brining, i found Sitchin to be true to the point, in everything he wrote, compared with the minimal amount i learned. The study of the Mesopotamian & Sumerian texts,has lead me to believe that someone watches over. Since reading Genesis:Reveisited numerous times, i have begun to ask questions, like a lot of other people. Now i just need to find the asnwers. Sitchin has instilled a belief in me that was never there before. His ability to interpret & comprehend what some see as myth, is proved in history. Particularly interesting was the parts on 'Nebiru', the planet beyond our solar system. What i would like to know is...Where did it REALLY all begin? By K.Stein
