Review: A typical book from a Newmax author......scare and screaming, but little new or factual material. These books come out about six times a year and are are nothing but a rehash of what you would find on Newmax's web site.

Summary: Excellent Book , should be classified under fiction
Review: About the time somebody started writing political fiction.This book is loaded with one false assumptions based on other false assumptions. Even though this book claims to be an example of investigative journalism, this work represents a creative and inventive side of the journalistic profession. If you are the kind of person who thinks that Elvis is alive and touring US in the UFO making occasional visits to Vegas, you may find this book convincing. I personally found it very amusing (just like I do Rush and Sean Hannity.) Anyway this book would be a great addition to your Baseless Hate of Democrats library. If you are not completely disturbed by lost jobs, lousy economy, big business taking tax breaks, while sending jobs more and more jobs overseas, looming super-resession resulting from all this (no tax refunds wont help, you used it to pay your mortgage), and running out of reasons to hate Democrats read on this is just the right book.

Summary: The 20 year campaign
Review: Carl Limbacher uses this book to argue that Hillary is the archetypal scheming politician. Don't believe the outward appearances, he argues. Instead, look at the track record and determine for yourself what Hillary Clinton would do as president.
The first six of 14 chapters address actions taken by Hillary in 2003 which might be interpreted as 'campaigning' for the presidency. At the end of Chapter 6, we get told her candidacy is probable. Of course, this didn't turn out to be what happened.
With Chapter 7, Limbacher begins to make a case that the 'scheme' is not limited to just the 2004 election. To accomplish this, he tries to make a character study of the former First Lady. First of all, she is always angry. This anger seems to get away from her at times, and emerges as exceptionally rude racial comments that would ruin the career of normal mortals. Second, she channels this anger into 'constant campaigning'. Third, she has been aiming at the Presidency since at least 1992. The 'scheme' isn't just something for the 2004 election; the scheme has probably been in place for 20 years.
The continuous campaign makes pretty interesting reading. At Yale, she championed Black Panthers who were eventually convicted for torturing and murdering a fellow Black Panther. She then moved on to the Nixon Watergate circus, and then to Bill Clinton's electoral campaigns. If all this wasn't enough work, she had to silence the countless women seduced, entrapped or raped by Bill Clinton. Limbacher argues that her record of hiring and supervising private investigators shows exceptional talent. Along these lines, Limbacher makes some fairly well substantiated claims that this remarkable talent was used to instigate IRS audits against Bill Clinton's political opponents during her years as First lady.
In fact, this role as 'Protector of Bill' is Limbacher's best argument for raising red flags about Hillary Clinton and her Presidential ambitions. He starts by arguing that Bill Clinton was and is a sexual predator. In the court of public opinion, he is guilty of at least one rape (Ms. Juanita Broderick). Limbacher than asserts Hillary was the key individual protecting Bill from spending time in jail, as the average sex offender would do. Thus, Hillary is culpable for subjecting Bill's staff to the rapes and abuse it suffered. Casting Hillary as 'rapist enabler' provides the 'proof' to Limbacher's title: Hillary's Scheme.
There is nothing on her policies as Senator, or campaigning points for the 2004/2008 presidential campaign.
The author, Limbacher works for NewsMax, a web-based conservative media outlet.
The book is more than a little dated now that the 2004 election is over. It is an easy read, though. The arguments address a 20 year campaign and not 'just' the 2004 election. Limbacher is preaching to the converted, and doesn't do much to address the bipolar reaction to Hillary one sees among the general voting public. The logic, if I have identified it correctly, could be better presented. It is a campaign book and has a breathless quality, but it really isn't about the campaign. Additionally, it makes few predictions. It doesn't go out on a limb and say 'watch for this...' As Hillary's 2008 campaign unfolds, it will be hard to determine if Limbacher was right or wrong.

Summary: What Are They Afraid of?
Review: Finally someone with the courage to tell us the truth about the Clintons. I believe Mr. Limbacher has done a masterful and difficult job of presenting what most people do not want to hear. It is well researched and documented presentation into what maybe a new chapter in Amercan politics if Mrs. Clinton decides to run for the presidency in 2004.
Other reader would like you to believe that this is a book against women running for the highest office. I did not think so. If Mrs. Clinton represents all women of this country then women's cause is in trouble.
It is Mrs. Clinton's character that is the issue and not her gender. I enjoyed the book very much and recommend it.

Review: First a comment about Dr Lloyd's one star review. My suspicion is that Dr Lloyd is a fictious character. If he is not he manages to devote his life to reading only books which he hates given that 28 of 29 reviews are one star reviews of conservative books. On to the subject A well documented reviw of what should be obvious, that Hillary is prepared to cripple the field in 04 to either step in at the convention or wait until the next election. Clearly her people are working towards a first strike where she does not have to run in the primaries and be subjected to a critical review by other Democrats. By wounding the other candidates, avoiding the conflict and arriving at the convention with her own warchest she is ready to subvert the primary process. Why is the press not talking about the what- ifs now rather than spending countless hours looking only at the declared candidates Wake up and smell the future
