Summary: A few gems, mostly sensual hype
Review: I've had the joy of being married for seven years and look forward to many more. My wife and I both come from families that were fairly silent on sex and our faith and personal history brought us into marriage as amateurs. Attempting to overcome a bit of ignorance and hoping to learn more about what stills seems a bit of a mystery we bought several books. One of these was this collection by Anne Hooper. I'm sure she's well meaning, but two of the three books are pretty much vapid and treat sex trivially. Her first book in the series has some insights and I'm holding the opinion now that after some success of this first book she quickly penned the latter ones to capitalize on her name.

All that said, the set was pretty much a waste of time and money. The gems in the first book could have been condensed into a pamphlet. We have found much better books out there that address more ably the spiritual, psychological, social as well as physical nature of sex.
