Rating: Summary: a wonderful collection of essays that encourage and inspire Review: "The Soul of Creativity" is a delightful collection of essays that encourage and inspire the creative soul in all of us. Each author touches on the elements of their personal creative paths, describing the joy, fear, and personal satisfaction that all humans feel when tapping into and exposing to the world their inner-most selves, which is where "creativity" resides. I highly recommend this book to anyone who, in endevouring to embark on the journey of self discovery feels fear and doubt. It becomes apparent that this doubt is universal and it only takes belief in one's self to overcome this greatest of hurdles and make dreams come true.
Rating: Summary: Essays are windows into creativity, artistry! Review: "What the "Soul of Creativity" does best is remind us that creativity is not just for artists, but is accessible to everyone in their everyday lives. It also shows that as we create we change ourselves and our lives in a very real and wonderful way." - Albuquerque Journal, 4/25/99.

Rating: Summary: A Great Resource Review: This is the third copy I have ordered, because the other two have found new homes with friends who shared my love of this collection of essays on the nature of the creative process. Short essays reflect multiple points of view, which is appropriate to the content. I read sections to my classes. I wander through the book when I desire companionship in the quiet of my studio. And I share the relevant book essays with others, a dangerous use of this book and my generous heart. My only complaint is the binding. Such wonderful ideas deserved a more sturdy format. Nancy, Oakland, CA.
