Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Clever, entertaining, honest and enlightening!!
Review: Dr. Eades developed his characters so well that I felt as though I knew each one personally. He has a way with words that soothe the aching soul, and shake the withering soul back into self-awareness. His writings do what many therapists have tried to do with me for years: they make me open my eyes!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Poetic stories that make me feel alive!
Review: Dr. Eades' stories are told so eloquently yet so simply that I am moved with each one. There is a marvelous twist at the end of each story that you do not see coming that jolts your very soul. Excellent read!

Summary: A good read
Review: This was one of those books laying around the house that I finally picked up and read. I am glad that it caught my attention. I read it just at the right time...which is how it always works, right? While not a big fan of short stories, John Eades book was very enjoyable and often touching. Who knows, I may have even learned something about keeping what is important in life higher up the priority list and about who the real heroes are in this world.
