Review: I've read a ton of herbal books and own about that many times two but this is the one herbal that stands out on the shelf. It's readable, informative and contains information not found in other books. Beautifully illustrated, this small book is worth the price. I go to it often and enjoy reading it time and again.

Review: This book is a terrific sampler for anyone interested in herbal medicine. It's loaded with great information and is very consumer-friendly. The authors strike a nice balance in their presentation of historical information and the pharmacology of the herbs profiled; not too much science, but more than enough to pique a reader's interest. I hope they write more of these!
