Summary: I read this as a "position in life" book.
Review: Getting through life, raising children and being a member of human society requires thought and attention. McClintock offers, even to a layman such as myself, some very helpful perspectives in viewing the influences that have formed my thinking and attitudes...then she adds to that both positions and techniques that allow the freedom to expand. The attitudes and skills included in this book have aided me in dealing with children, friends, co-workers and myself. Very interesting reading. Very clearly presented.
