Summary: Purchase "Vogue Make-Up" instead.
Review: I purchased this book after being extraordinarily pleased with Vogue's other book, "Vogue Make-Up". After reading both books, I would DEFINITELY recommend "Vogue Make-Up" over "Vogue Beauty". Whereas "Vogue Make-Up" provides detailed advice and information, such as which *specific products* are used by fashion models "in the know" (e.g. for a neutral lipliner, some models swear by MAC Spice), "Vogue Beauty" is more of a coffee-table book, with pretty pictures, and text that covers topics only superficially, lacking the detailed sought by readers who already know the *basics* of beauty and haircare. Another quirk of "Vogue Beauty" is that it seems to have been written for (and is more applicable to) readers in the UK, than for readers in the US.
