Summary: An Inspirational Study on Spirituality in Medicine
Review: Young and Koopsen have caught the essence of the diversity of the many cultural approaches to health and healing. As a physician trained in the Western Tradition of medicine, this book offerd to me a more perceptive approach to the understanding of my patient's views of their own health. I learned for the first time the difference between "healing" and "curing". Although this outstanding book is primarily a teaching text, I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the unique perspective that this book offers. R. O'Neil MD
