Summary: not bad, but expected better
Review: I couldn't wait to get this book. I wanted to hear others' insights into their anorexia--I wanted to hear from others going through the same thing I am. It wasn't a bad book. Maybe I would have liked it more if it were one of the first books I read on eating disorders. Maybe now I'm too picky because I've read so many books. I just expected more from this one. It's a good read though, and I don't regret that I read it. It was good to hear from those who have conquered their anorexia as well as those who still battle through recovery. I do recommend that people read it even though I was a bit disappointed.

Summary: A different perspective
Review: I think this book is important for ANYBODY involved with anorexia nervosa - not just the victim but also family and friends. The book gives you an incite into how other anorectics feel and think about the disease, and help one to understand the complexities lying behind anorexia. I highly recommend this book to read for a general understanding of feelings and emotions as well as a device for recovery.
