The Little Book Of I Love You

Summary: Great book to tell someone "I love you"
Review: I normally don't buy books like this, mainly because I always thought they were expensive for what they did. HOWEVER ... The first time I flipped through "The Little Book of I Love You" I fell in love with it and how cute it was.

This is not one of those flimsy, tiny, 20-page books that you get through in twenty seconds flat. This hard-cover book features many wonderful photographs that made me laugh and go "awww." It was also the first book of this type that was able to persuade me to fork over the cash to buy it and send it 10,000 kilometers to my fiance (who is, at the moment, working in another country). I don't know how many photos are in the book, but it took me quite a while to get all the way to the end. This is purely an estimated guess, but I'd say there's almost 150 between the covers.

An example of a picture that had me smiling was one where the caption read something like, "If you're feeling sad," with the photo being of an open laundry machine with TEARS inside along with a white cloth. ("If you're feeling sad, I'll wash away your tears.") Another page I liked featured the words I LOVE YOU in Braille, with the caption "Feel my love for you." The last page featured a picture of a ring, with the space inside it cut out so you could put your finger through. The caption? "Free Trial." It had me laughing out loud in the bookstore, where I promptly handed in my money for this great gem.
