Rating: Summary: Elements of Mediation Review: The book is relatively short - 88 pages. The length and organization of material comprise the beauty of this handy little "how to" reference. Major points are organized in succinct, pithy useful lists which follow a logical progression for anyone involved in mediation processes. Material gets to the heart of the issue rather quickly, which makes the book useful as a handy desk reference or useful for a quick brush-up. In my estimation, Elements of Mediation is a keeper. Both the table of contents and end cover provide sources of logical organization of the topics and a prompt on where to look. Would recommend this book for anyone involved in mediation or to those involved in the activities of day-to-day management and administration.
Rating: Summary: too brief for anthing new to be learned Review: The books is basically a collection of bullet points regarding mediation. It is a nice summary if you are already familia with the ideas presented therein. However if you are new to mediation, you will be disappointed as this book does not go into detials to explain the "Bullet Point" ideas presented therein.
