Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Informative, clever, empathetic and full of energy
Review: Helen Bransford shows she has brains AND beauty in her frank examination of why plastic surgery is enjoying such popularity, what to expect if it happens to you and how she endured the process. Her little book is girlfriend-friendly and it posesses just enough clinical information to move the uninitiated-but-interested toward the I'm-ready-for-a-consultation stage. Don't read it unless you take the craft (and your looks) seriously

Summary: OK, BUT THERE ARE MUCH BETTER BOOKS
Review: I was disappointed by this book. There are much better books available.... "The Hollywood Facelift" or "The Youth Corridor" or "Nips and Tucks" are all much better than this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is a realistic look into facelifts, and has great tips!
Review: Ms Bransford has done an excellent job putting together a timeline of her facelift, from why she wanted one and what steps she took, all the way to full recovery. I especially loved the tips, which made my facelift so much easier. This is an honest, open and fun book that does a lot to deal with any fears about facelifts that someone has. A real approach, with real information and feelings. I have recommended it very highly to all of my "aging" friends, and I will continue to do so!

Summary: OK, BUT THERE ARE MUCH BETTER BOOKS
Review: Welcome to Your Facelift : What to Expect Before, During, and After by Hellen Bransford, is to date, the definative resource for ANYONE cosidering a facelift. This small tome told me things that my own plastic surgeon didn't have a clue about. Ms. Bransford told the truth, the whole truth, and NOTHING but the truth about facelifts. I hope her book on 2nd facelifts is published before I go under the knife, again! It's interesting to note that her book is being included in their "patient package" by some of the top plastic surgeons in the US. If you're thinking about "turning back the clock" start your research with this book!

Summary: Helpful
Review: Well done, and many thanks, I'm a little less confused/frightened after I read Helen's book, she has many helpful tips. I now know a few more questions I should ask and a bit more of what to expect. However, I would have loved to know the name of the surgeon and what was his/her fee. Who was he/she please!!!!!! can somebody tell me..... Helen please, e-mail me and let me know.Laura .
