Summary: had taken treatment/aeroplane sling model
Review: I had a nagging shoulder problem that got so bad I could barely lift my arms past horizontal. I've been working out for years, but one very, very rough weekend sports outing trashed both shoulders to where I couldn't work out at all. This book with it's simple exercises totally cured my problem. Now I just incorporate them into the end of my shoulder workout and VOILA !!! Pain and injury free for 4 years now and my workouts are better than ever. The technical explanation is superb. The best money I ever spent. Better than any help I ever got from physical trainers and doctors for the same problem.

Summary: It Works!!!
Review: I hurt my right shoulder in a Martial Arts tournament 5 months ago. For the first month, I was suffering big time. I could barely throw a ball 15 feet and had trouble driving, eating, and even sleeping. I was diagnosed with a torn RC and had a long wait for an MRI and subsequent visit with an orthopedic surgeon and PT. In the interim, I got a copy of "7-Minute Rotator Cuff Solution." The book explained the mechanics of the rotator cuff in comprehensive, yet easy to understand detail. The exercises worked like magic and I felt gradual progress. I also learned that some of the exercises I was doing were doing more harm than good (which I should have known based on the pain level). When I did go to see a doctor (no surgery needed) and a Physical Therapist, both concurred with much of what was in the book. As of now, I am about 90%; I am even able to spar again. I think I am on the road to full recovery. This book is well worth every penny if you are suffering the agony of a rotator cuff injury.

Summary: Excellent recovery & prevention program
Review: I torgued my shoulder a few years back and used the programs in this book to recover to a pain-free condition and to keep the shoulder girdle strong to help prevent a rein-jury.

It also recommends certain exercises to avoid if you don't want to put yourself at unneccessary risk. I've recommended it from time to time to other lifters or just anyone who screwed up their shoulder.[...]

Summary: The Solution, and It Is...
Review: Last August I noticed a very slight pain in my upper right shoulder. It didn't seem like a structural injury, so I continued to train normally. One day, after about twenty minutes of crawl laps in an Olympic size pool, the pain in my shoulder increased suddenly and dramatically. I iced it and took some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and resolved to rest a few months. A few months later, I was no better, and I went to the University medical center. The range of motion tests I underwent actually worsened my condition, and I nearly went to the hospital emergency room two days later. After the typical rigmarole with hospital administration, I finally got to see a sports medicine specialist and then received a referral to physical therapy. A month later, I had spot numbness in my arm, and was still unable to jog, swim, lift...anything.
So my mom bought me this book. I didn't pick it up right away, and I regret it. After only three days following the rehabilitation exercises in this book, I am back to almost full strength and mobility, and have taken up Brazilian Jiujitsu, and returned to regular weight-lifting.
At first, I was leery about the book because one of the authors is a chiropractor. But none of the material in the book is controversial or esoteric. It's extremely common sensical, and includes very helpful information about exercises you may be performing which could permanently damage the health of your shoulders. Further, it presents anatomical information in a manner that is clear and approachable. The doctors I saw didn't bother to inform me of the distinction between internal and external rotators, and all the exercises they gave me were for the internal rotators.
As a young man, I frequently took my health for granted until this shoulder injury. Anyone who is suffering similar problems, and the same confusion and ambiguity that I did, should give this book a chance. At the very least, it presents a wholly scientific and reasonable alternative to surgery and debilitating steroid treatments. Good luck...

Summary: Rock Climbing + Computer use = shoulder problems
Review: rock climbing puts a lot of stress on the shoulders and elbows. Using a mouse and keyboard for hours at a time exacerbates that inflammation. After reading through it and now in stage 2 of the injury rehab routines i am already feeling much better. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know how the shoulder works and why it starts to hurt. It is very well written and the exercises can be done at home (so far in my program)

Summary: Fabulous.
Review: Shoulder injuries can literally never heal ifyou don't exercise them properly. Laying offexercise doesn't do it. I had one that didn't improve for 3 years because I was favoring it but not actively doing anything to rehabilitate it. Then I talked to a good sports doc, and another gave me a copy of this book, which details which exercises to do and how to do them, and which excercises NOT to do that you may unwittingly have in your lifting routine, with enough theory to satisfy a trainer or therapist if you want to get into it. This book is suitable for anyone, from a novice exerciser to an athlete to a bodybuilder, who either has a shoulder injury or wants to strengthen his/her upper body safely. I recommend it highly. .....James Bradley

Summary: prehabilitation AND rehabilitation
Review: This book has literally saved me thousands from un-necessary shoulder arthroscopic surgery. I read the book, did the rehab exercises, and more importantly QUIT doing the exercises that were CAUSING MY SHOULDER problems! This book was a lifesaver and a great deal for the price...Easy to read, well written and fully illustrated. Has plenty of tables and descriptions of the routines for Rehab, Strengthening and Building up the shoulder girdle. I used the exercises to build up my rear delts and have been pain free for years - this is after I couldn't even SLEEP, due to the pain in my R/C!! I even shared it with (2) other friends who had the same types of shoulder impingement pain, and they reported the same 'miracle' results (although I had to force my last friend to give me the book back, as he liked it so much...). Highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from shoulder pain, before they do any invasive techniques-it may save you like it did me!

Summary: A Must Read For Anyone Who is Serious About Training...
Review: This book is really well done. It is written in a language anyone can understand and perfectly illustrated. For each passage the author talks about, there is a small illustration showing exactly what is being described. It makes the information very easy to understand and utilize. I have never had any rotator cuff problems but I am a personal trainer and I have many clients who have had problems with this area. This book outlines routines for rehabilitation, and also for injury prevention. It also includes some fabulous stretches for the chest, shoulders, and biceps, as well as the rotator cuff muscles. This book is a great resource to have in your library of training texts and I highly recommend it.I wish that all books on injury prevention and rehabilition were done as well as this one.
