Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Worth reading
Review: Searle-White researched this subject in three areas: conflicts in Sri Lanka, Nagorno-Karabakh, and experiments he set up in his classroom. The latter strongly indicate that behaviors observed in nationalist conflicts are a result of universal human nature. It would certainly help if Colin Powell and Pres. Bush read this book! Although academic in nature, it is easy for a reader to understand, even without a background in psychology or nationalism.

Summary: PEACE IS POSSIBLE.
Review: This book gives the clue to let people (who feel to belong to
a different groups) to live together in peace. It explains perfectly the concepts of Individual Identity and Social Identity and their interaction and influence in human behaviour. A must-read book for any governent facing nationalist movements inside its country.
