The book seems equally suitable for readers interested in general background of Chinese culture, and the ones concerned about the quality of their immediate life/work environment. The author's balanced, undogmatic & common-sense approach helps to de-mystify the subject and make it readily accessible -and plausible- to the Western reader. An intriguing twist is the discussion of parallels between some of the thousands-year old Chinese wisdom and modern scientific knowledge.
