Summary: Tacky, tacky, tacky
Review: Half of the proposals suggest that you stand there, dressed in a tux holding roses, looking like a dope. The other half suggests doing banal things like tying a ring around your pet's neck.I was really hoping to find some classy, clever, sharp, and intelligent suggestions to spark my own creativity...not suggestions for me to write on a billboard how much I love her and then to climb a ladder on to the edge of the sign dressed in a tuxedo. If you know the difference between clever and tacky, you will not be happy at all with this book.

Review: I bought this book from a jewelery store where I bought my diamond. I wasn't planning on doing any of the ideas in the book until I started reading it. Then I realized that there were a bunch of GREAT ideas in there. I actually went to the website and bought one of the GIANT FORTUNE COOKIES and proposed using that idea. I completely suprised my fiance, she had no idea what so ever until she opened the cookie to find my personlized fortune which came with the cookie. It read "Jill, Will you marry me." This book was not only a source of great ideas but a resource that I was able to gather to make this the most special moment in both of our lives. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to make that special moment even more special and creative than ever.

Review: I thought this book would have real life examples of the ways people proposed instead of one guys made up ideas like "propose outdoors in a rain storm" (yes that is #56 in the book). I was much more satisfied with the material I found at howtoproposemarriage. com

Summary: This Book is a LIfe Saver !
Review: Ok, so there I was, in Love, ready to take that next step, and then it hit me: How am I going to do this? well, I searched the web for some help with my dilema, and that's when I ran across this book. I figured for such a reasonable price, I might as well pick it up and see if there's some suggestions for me. Well, let me tell you, this book was a Life Saver! I ended up using proposal idea # 45 (which I won't go into full detail on, but it involves an elevator). My Fiancee was so toally surprised and overwhelmed, she couldn't help but say "Yes". I can't thank Mr. Pagliaro enough for writing this terrific book, and I hope you all pick up a copy, you won't regret it!

Review: The author of this book - John Pagliaro has creative ideas on this important subject that will make your marriage proposal special and something that she will talk about for years to come. The author took the time to talk with me personally on the phone. I was able to bounce ideas off John and get feedback. He adds the personal touch.

Review: The Story Behind The Rock is one of the most creative books I've seen. John Pagliaro, Jr. does an outstanding job coming up with creative ways to pop the big question, and I LOVE the hints. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering proposing to their loved one, or even looking to surprise them with the perfect gift on an anniversary or other special day. :-)
