Summary: The Gift is The Gift
Review: Here's a book about a perfect gift, that is itself a perfect gift! This beautifully illustrated book (and add a star if you are already a Magsamen fan) is a story, or really, a modern fairy tale, written to be enjoyed with young and old people alike. A pop-up finale and a pull-up note, and Magsamen-designed wrapping paper too!

Summary: The Gift
Review: If you¹re thinking that The Gift is perfect for a Christmas gift, you're right. But after I bought it, I¹ve actually stocked up on more copies for gift giving throughout the year. It really is a timeless story with a wonderful ending that is great for storytelling for the kids, or handing out to family members of any age. The colorful illustrations and additions such as the pop-up are classic. This is a book that will remain on your shelves forever.

Summary: Discover Magsamen
Review: I¹ve been a Magsamen admirer for a few years now, but for those that know who she is (and know her work) and especially for those that don't, this is the book to buy for your entrée into her colorful world. As with all great stories, Magsamen gives us a simple one filled with meaning and a message that is appropriate for any occasion, and especially for any age.

Summary: Magical
Review: Though I may be biased, as a long-time Magsamen fan, The Gift is one of the most beautifully illustrated books that I¹ve seen in a long time. With a touching story about how the act of giving is the real gift in life, Magsamen has succeeded again in presenting a rich story with pages full of inspiring drawings.

Summary: The Gift
Review: With a pop-up and pull-out note, "The Gift" is one of those books that includes the right amount of interactive elements to complement the lovely illustrations. The drawings immediately capture your attention and the story is one that will appeal to all ages, not just children. If you¹re thinking of buying anyone a gift book this year, this is one to choose.
