Summary: Critical, readable, useful.
Review: In my opinion as a psychiatry resident, this is the best textbook bar none for medical students and junior doctors. The Oxford double volume is far more comprehensive and a must-have for serious players, but where the Oxford tomes are encyclopaedic this item is practical and user-friendly. It is also a pleasure to read, which is significant advantage over Kaplan and Saddock's Synopsis.
