Summary: A Lifesaver....
Review: Anyone who's been searching for a while knows how easily it is to get overwhelmed with the techniques, practices and advice touted in the various self-help/spirituality books and magazines that have proliferated over the past decade. For most of us they just create another set of "shoulds" that we don't live up to. Coming to Your Senses ties together and simplifies all these concepts in a fun and accessible format, helping you learn to trust yourself again. Rather than focusing on what's wrong, Veillette helps you find out what's right. There is no magic pill or one-size fits all solution, but rather a gentle unfolding of your own "sense" which for me, had been deeply buried (almost crushed) in the expectations and shoulds of my daily life. This book was a real life-saver and I've passed it onto many friends who feel the same way. Thanks Sally!

Summary: A waste of cents...
Review: I am so thrilled to have found this little gem. Coming To Your Senses, Soaring With Your Soul is much more than a book.....it is a guide for life. Sally Veillette has - in 8 practical, sensical steps - helped me to find the energy I needed to move forward. And the best thing about this practical life guide is that is was FUN! No long drawn out exercises that exhaust you just reading about them, let alone doing them. I devoured it a weekend. And felt full of energy and vitality come Monday morning.

If you are in a rut, finding yourself the least bit drained by people, work or other things in your life, wanting to make even just a bit of a change or a huge transition, but having trouble taking that first step, then this is for you! This book helped me to identify what was not quite right in my life, what was draining my energy and then went on to help me to understand how to shed myself of those draining aspects and move on.

This is a book you will want to share. I am passing this little gem on to friends and family, and have already filled most of my Christmas list with it.

Summary: Great BOOK and a Great INTERVIEW
Review: One sure sign of personal crisis is when you reach a goal and the happiness that you were expecting isn't there.

Sally Veillette says that our motivation for self-reflection sometimes comes as a result of crisis, and when it does come that way, we shouldn't panic, but let the feeling of being lost, empty or confused by our teacher. She's written this book to give us the insights from her "painful CFS teacher" so that we can learn the importance of getting to know ourselves through our senses and be empowered to live in an authentic way.

I interviewed Sally Veillette on The Inside Success Show and learned a lot. She is so genuine and full of energy now, which makes her testimony of recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome absolutely priceless - Check It Out!

Here's some other things I learned:

** How Sally Veillette went from climbing Mt. Rainier to not being able to climb out of bed because of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

** Why you need to learn how to "feel" all of your senses

** How you can find more creativity (and more money) by cleaning out the junk that drains your energy

** What is so important to about knowing you really, really want

If you want avoid the crisis of reaching your goals and still being unhappy, or if you want to live a more satisfying life, this powerful book is just what you need.

Summary: Definitely on my recommended book list!
Review: Sally's book chronicles her recovery from chronic fatigue syndome, a successful career woman whose body finally would not carry her further. I love the way she talks about these difficulties without once dragging the reader into the tiredness. The chapters are full of exercises designed to help us face our hard spots and find the energy to fly. She shares the lessons she learned in such an upbeat fashion that her soul's energy comes flying through the words. This is a book I will give as gifts (a graduation present, for example), and keep nearby as a reference for my discouraged times. As a psychologist, I'll be recommending it to clients often. A five star book, for sure!
