Review: For the new professors who want to improve their teachingskills, this is The Book. It is actually an academic review of the useof humor in the classroom, but it's so funny the information sticks. I've used many of the ideas in the last year with great effect. It completely changed how my students and I interact. Every new prof (and a lot of "old" ones I recall) should use "Professors are from Mars and Students are from Snickers." I have learned the most from it of any text on teaching. Thank you Professor Berk!
