Rating: Summary: Sensitive and thoughtful life review Review: As a therapist myself, I very much appreciated the difficult task Dr. Treadway embarked upon...that of getting to know his family of origin. It is interesting to see him pass through many steps before he is able to work through his defense mechanisms and uncover the wounds of his childhood which vitally impact his life in the here & now. The author is brutually honest in his self-assessment and shows the reader his most vulernable self. Helpful and interesting reading for all of us willing to travel the most difficult of all roads...the family system.
