Rating: Summary: highly recommended intro into the universal language... Review: ....of symbols despite Fromm's ongoing unfairness to and ignorance of the Jungian perspective.
Rating: Summary: Part Insight, Part Psychobabble Review: This book will open your eyes to the world of dreams, fairy tales and myths. Fromm fairly describes other people's views, including those of Jung and Freud, with his own. Unfortunately, as an Introduction, Fromm assumes the reader will either know psychoanalytical theories, or take his word as truth. Still, it will change the way you look at dreams, fairy tales and myths. They will start to make sense.
Rating: Summary: Unlocks personal wisdom Review: This may be the best book on mysticism ever written. It takes insight and communication to a very personal level, revealing and then unlocking the language our soul uses to communicate with the conscious. Be prepared to meet a very wise subconscious. If this book doesn't change your life lock the door because the lights are off and there's no one at home. Or the truth is just to scary to reveal. BUY THIS BOOK!
