That's okay, because Marco's artwork zings these oh-so-telling and helpful points right past the gatekeepers of our mind to the places where they will do the most good. The art is based in Victorian illustrations, freely and creatively combined with her own touches and vivid colors. It's the kind of book that you return to often, to remind yourself of where you are going.

Review: What a GREAT book!
Intimate, funny, very wise - here is a wonderful little book on how to just get through LIFE! I enjoyed it immensely, not just for its gentle humor but its challenges. Dares... Double Dares... The author throws down the gauntlet, challenging the reader to rise to their best, self-empowered selves. But it's not instructional so much as empathetic (and again, funny!) and highly readable. I recommend this wholeheartedly.
