Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A book every woman must read. Review: My daughter gave Soulwork to me three years ago. Almost four years ago my husband committed suicide in the garage at our home, and I found him. Needless to say, my life (and that of my children) changed in a single heartbeat. Suddenly, at the age of 47, I was truly on my own for the very first time in my life. My two grown daughters live 250 miles from me, I have no other family nearby, my only sibling lives in California and both of our parents are dead. I had no one to really talk to about my innermost fears. I learned so much about myself from this book. The most important thing I learned is that my fears, my insecurities, and my dreams are not unique to me alone. Knowing that other women feel what I feel gave me the determination to accept the hand that I had been dealt, and go on. I have worked very hard at not letting myself become a "victim." One only has to pick up a newspaper or turn on the nightly news to know that many people in this world suffer much greater than I have. I have read the book many times, and particularly when I feel down I pick it up. Just last night I read a few chapters. I keep in on my headboard of my bed. Ms. Moffatt has the gift of putting into written word what I feel.
