I highly recommend this book to anyone, but perhaps most of all it is a positive gift for those people who need a gigantic boost of inspiration and optimism.

Summary: I love "Expect Miracles." I couldn't put it down....
Review: and spent many happy moments of my 81st birthday yesterday reading it from cover to cover. This old world is in need of Mary Ellen's special touch! Each of the stories provides much appreciation for events that happen to us and "lights" the readers' paths thru sunshine and stormy days, providing an inspiration to each and all of us, and encourages us to look for miracles, to expect to find them, and recognizing them. "Expect Miracles" an exceptional book, and is one which I will read, reread and reread many times, it will always be a "very special friend", with its special words of wisdom, thoughtfulness, and love. Summary: Fantastic !
Review: Everyone can use a quick pick me up from time to time and "Expect Miracles" was mine today. I really enjoyed reading this book and can honestly say I read it straight through, except a break here and there to reposition myself. I didn't want to put it down. Each story led me to read the next, then the next, until I finished. Even us spirit-filled born-again believers sometimes find ourselves in need of a little reminder of how miraculous God is and how He loves to show Himself strong in the lives of those whose hearts are loyal towards Him.

Summary: The Best Christmas Present
Review: Hi I am the Author of the Best Christmas Present story, that was published in Expect Miracles. This story was picked up by the Paxton television network and aired December 16 and December 19, 1999. I have up until now, avoided talking to people about my miracle, but after it was published in our hometown newspaper and a short interview on a local radio staion before it aired on television,I do not avoid it anymore, it has changed my life in alot of ways. People I had thought would find it unbelievable have approached me and told me of their own miracles,this has shown me it pays to be open about such experiences. It is a very moving and learning experience . The stories in the book have helped a lot of people and now I have a lot of friends who want the book, and relatives who bought and gave the book as Christmas gifts this year. I really owe Mary Ellen a debt of gratitude for helping me realize what I had was a gift to me. Thanks

Summary: An absolute joy to read!
Review: I recently purchased the lovely books "Expect Miracles" and "A Christmas filled with Miracles", written by Mary Ellen. I enjoyed reading them both so much, in fact from the moment I started reading them, I couldn't put them down. My two best friends and my two sisters to whom I gave the "Expect Miracles" books as gifts also loved them. The true accounts filled me with wonderment and hope. They have given me an even greater reassurance that truly magical events and experiences can and do occur in our everyday lives. Both books were truly an absolute joy to read!

Review: If you are a Christian, this is NOT the author/book for you.
The Bible is very clear that Satan can dress himself as an "Angel of Light" (2 Chronicles 11:14). This book emphasizes the focus on Angels instead of God and His Son, Jesus Christ. The very word "Angel" means messenger - they are nothing more or less than a creation used by God for His people.
Of course, there exist demons (fallen angels) who work the will of their father (Satan). The Bible clearly states that at the end of times, many will be deceived by these supernatural events (Revelation 13:14) worked by Satan.

Mary Ellen shows us that there are plenty of good things happening. She also shows how we can perform simple acts of kindness and become someone's "earth angel." If you're feeling a little low, this book will lift your spirits. If you're already feeling good, this book will make you feel even better. Keep up the good work, Mary Ellen!

Review: This book will guarantee to bring tears, joy and hope, and not necessarily in that order! This book contains true stories of love, hope and faith filled miracles and tells us once again, how much we are loved by God and His angels. After reading this book, you will want to give it to others. If you are experiencing hardships in your life at the moment, this book will uplift you and comfort you. Each and every story was wonderful and amazing. I have been reading MaryEllen's newsletter probably since the very beginning and would pass on her newsletter to the list that I was running. The stories were incredibly uplifting, miraculous and are now contained in this book. MaryEllen's newsletter has given me much encouragement and hope during some very incredible hard times in my life and reading the book, I felt comforted on angel's wings! In fact, her newsletter is one I always read first. MaryEllen says to expect miracles! I do believe that if we embrace living this way, miracles will indeed happen! I am very much looking forward to MaryEllen's next book on Christmas miracles. I heartily recommend her newsletter and her website ............. I love this book and I constantly reread the stories as well as read them to my children. You will NOT be disappointed in this gem! Thank you MaryEllen for your love and hope and miracles on the web!
