Summary: Not put together well
Review: My biggest problem is that it assumes the record keeper is female. The book is organized for "Your Family", and "Your Husband's Family". All throughout the book, they do not consider the possiblity that the record keeper just may possibly be a man.
The book is quite thin, and I found it very quirky that it asks your family members to fill out a section entitled, "first paycheck". I gave up filling this book out, and tossed it.

Review: While the cover is fairly plain in color, the pages are sprinkled with little pictures of lace handkerchiefs, trinkets, silk gloves, candles, books, antique teddy bears, hairpins and flowers. With this book in hand, you can begin to compile a lasting history of your family. The pages will become nostalgic journeys for generations to come. The fill-in pages let you record details of every member of your family. Everything from the dates and places of birth to their achievements, occupations, favorite pastimes and character traits. Spaces throughout the book give a place for you to add your own family photographs. As your mother or father reminisces about how your grandfather went fishing to make extra income for the family or how your grandmother had to hang clothes up on a clothes line...you will be writing all the fun details down in this book.
