Summary: easy to read; comprehensive; a little difficult to follow
Review: Marcel Lavabre uses lay-person's language to explain and educate the reader about the basic and the chemical world of essental oils. I have a heightened appreciation for these chemicals as well as a greater understanding of how they work, and how to make use of them in my business. I do find it a little difficult to locate the specific application of an oil in the many tables that are offered, but the information seems to be fairly comprehensive.

Review: Useful, good intro to aromatherapy chamistry. Get another more "poetic" book to go with this one, for a balanced introduction.
