Summary: Refreshingly creative endeavor
Review: Unlike many books of this genre, this one really has something to say. Not only is the writing accessible, enjoyable and at times hilarious, Ms. Goodman has also done a great deal of research into love rituals around the world and across cultures, and has included them here for us lucky readers. Personally--and I feel certain many will share my opinion--I've been waiting for a book like this for a long time.

Review: With the glut of relationship/romance books out there these days, it's difficult to find one that has a unique perspective. But Mara Goodman-Davies has definitely done that with "A Year of Romance: 12 Months of Romantic Ideas to Light Up Your Love Life. " There are hundreds of ideas for every occasion. Great combination of romance and fun!
