Summary: Bowers has caught the essence of human personality.
Review: Within the guise of New Age awareness, Bower's book is more of a personality test based largely on the aura colors she has always seen. During my first year of college, a close friend gave the aura test to me and helped me discover more about myself than any other source. Never before has a book, let alone a personality test, transcribed so much of my inner self. She is the first to allow for the "jack-of-all-trades" personality that normal personality test's just shove off as diverse. She also notices a new color, Indigo, that has a special role in this modern world. By exploring spiritual, emotional, financial, and other areas of each color's life, Bowers has caught the essence of human personality. Even though we are all have one main color, everyone should read all the color's descriptions, for they describe anyone you will encounter and will help you motivate/ cope with other people. Other friends that have read her book have cried because they finally felt understood. Personally, I have never felt so centered and finally know how to articulate my strengths, my weaknesses, and above all, my gifts.
