Rating: Summary: Build muscle in the quickest amount of time, Review: I have never managed to work out for more than a week or two at a time. I just hate working out. Unfortunately, this dislike has negatively impacted me - with weight gain and loss of "strength" to do the everyday things now that I've hit 40. I have said for years that I didn't even have any muscles in my body - that's how untoned I was. The great thing about Darden's ideas is the brief amount of time it takes - 15 minutes three times a week. I'm starting my 8th consecutive week and I'm really enthused with my progress. I have muscles in my arms and legs that I never had. My back muscles are beginning to be noticable. I haven't lost any weight - but I haven't attempted the diet part of his book. I'm just happy right now that I've found something I can stick with that builds metabolically active tissue so that when I do start dieting my body will burn fat and allow me to lose weight.
Rating: Summary: The Six-Week Fab-to-Muscle Makeover Review: I read this book and followed all it's steps including the diet. It worked excellently. I lost inches. I was overweight by much but I needed a lot of toning. I wanted to have a waist. I was in the best physical shape ever after six weeks. I plan on doing the program again. Now after 2 children I need my shape back and I know for a fact following this program will give it to me.
Rating: Summary: The Six Week Fat to Muscle Makeover Review: It worked great for me! I lost three inches around my waist and went from 134 to 125lbs. This is after spending 2 years exercising 3 to 5 times per week with no weight or inch loss. It seemed like a miracle to me and it can work for you, too. The only change I made was to add aerobics to my routines. I did 15 to 20 minutes on the ski machine before the toning exercises. Other than that, I followed the recipes which were very easy and tasty and was amazed at how quickly I was able to fit into my clothes again. Now, I will be able to shop for the same size and I am delighted about that.
