Review: Psychology the Easy Way is a MUST for anyone taking an advanced placement test, SAT subject test or the GRE. It is a perfect gift book for anyone wanting to understand 'real' psychology as opposed to psychobabble. The author's writing style is flowing, readability is high, the content is concise yet correct, the author uses the highly effective refutational text format for dispelling many of the popular myths and misconceptions about psychological findings. I have taught introductory psychology at the college level for over 15 years and would recommend this book in to anyone who wants to understand the basic principles of human behavior as derived from scientific studies. It is also a perfect college text for the instructor who wants to provide students with a core of solid information, with the flexibility to build on that information in any direction, and without having classroom lectures driven by a more comprehensive text. Having a quality core text has allowed me to be more creative in the classroom.
