Rating: Summary: You'll get there faster if you feed your soul first ... Review: ...highly inspirational! I use it to feed my marketing team at work. We begin each day by reviewing what lies in store for us that day, and then read from the book to help us reaffirm our value as creative beings, remind us of our unique gifts and help us keep things in perspective ... ("It's okay that the rest of the world doesn't 'get it.' Give them time ... show them, eventually they'll catch on! Oh yeah, and just because they don't think it's good, doesn't mean it isn't, it just means they don't think it is!) This book is a great tool to unify creative work teams. Amazing things (like harmony) are sure to follow.
Rating: Summary: Write in Sync Review: The daily topics for consideration seem to be right where I am in the creative process. I purchased it after I went through the AW twice. I recommend it for those who have done the AW with success and want to keep up the momentum.
Rating: Summary: A Years Worth of Inspiration Review: This book is a perfect choice for people working on creative self-expression.Linda Coons has written this book as a daily inspiration guide for artists, writers and anyone bent on a creative path in life. This book is meant as a tool for developing ways to better cope with blocks and obstacles when doing artistic projects. Each day has a short idea and then either a meditation or prayer along with an exercise that relates to the day's idea. It will take you easily through a year of inspiration without requiring too much time. The problem is that you will want to rush through the year in order to find out what you are capable of....but take your time and enjoy.
