Review: When I first read Tribes I was concerned about giving up valuable curricular time for Tribes activities but I was desperate! The net result in my 4-5 combination class was a tremendous increase in productive teaching and learning. Even my most difficult students are now productive members in our room. As a new teacher this book allowed me to keep my sanity and created a cohesive, warm, and fun place to learn. Thank you Jeanne Gibbs!
